All I really saw was someone who hates Mormons on an unhealthy level.
So a truthful telling of a group's history is hate? That's hilarious. I don't even dislike Mormons let alone hate them. However, no one dispute this incident happened. You have to create a fairy tale history to believe that it's fake.

BYU doesn't dispute it. Several witnessed it. That is by definition substantiated.
Any school will put out a statement of condemnation of an allegation. That is not an admission of guilt…. And so far, the witnesses are the Duke teammates. Really credible witnesses

He made that up

The article literally says that there is no substance per the police that investigated. If they had a witness other than a Duke player, they would’ve said so. But I know the next talking point: “How can you trust the police?!?”

They investigated and have so far banned one fan for it.

No, they banned the fan that was pointed out by Duke players immediately. Per the investigation, which is in the article, states that they found nothing to substantiate the claim.

and let us not forget that the fan that was kicked out for no reason at the behest of the Duke players is a mentally challenged individual.

Sounds like lawsuit incoming from the banned fan for 1st amend violations and the fact byu cant substantiate what happened and is saying it didnt happen.

Her aunt is a politician called Lesa Pamplin. She brought in a political grievance action group called “The Long Conversation” who specializes in identifying subconscious racism. In other words creating racist incidents out of thin air. This girls teammate “witnesses” only witnessed this after the group was brought in to school them on how to create the story.

There is no first amendment right to attend byu games, schools can ban you for any reason they see fit.

Just click bait for off-season women's basketball. Doesn't matter. Once LSU passes up USC in women's basketball, her name will lose luster.

Pretty serious allegations without evidence eh? Enough to ruin someone’s life. That requires evidence before you act. I hope, if it was not true, that he sues the shite out of Duke.

The game was televised. There were commentators. There were multiple camera angles of the entire game.
NOT ONE PERSON IN ATTENDANCE HAS SUBSTANTIATED THE CLAIM.
Still, Lying arse CNN's Jim Acosta says it as if it actually happened, so people like Prof take it as gospel.
I wish I was surprised by how gullible and stupid people are on the Left. But it's constant.

It wouldn't be a 1st Amend violation to ban any fan for any reason from a private university but it could definitely be a lawsuit if BYU lied about investigating and simply banned someone, especially because the accusation of dropping the n-word could have a negative effect on that fan's reputation.
It's not something universities are going to play around with willy nilly.

quote:how have his first amendment rights been violated. hes simply been banned from attending sporting events. the school has the right to do so for any reason it chooses. bullshite or not. hes not being arrested

a lawsuit can happen if this negatively impacts his life. but thats not a 1st amendment issue
