I'd be concerned about anyone coming out of Maine named tabby cat. Unless his brother was maine coon.

He comes from a legendary family of Maine cornerbacks. His uncle, Laurice “Wet Dick” Samuelson(uncle on his mothers side) still holds the state record for pass break ups in a season(8)

That is the window that really might be worse than this one.

Gatlin Bair, the

6'-2", 175
I like the height.

He's not entering college until Jan., 2026 (LDS 2 year mission first), so he wouldn't be immediate help, anyway.

His philosophy is to not pay high school kids as much as the players on the team

Washington does not near the financial resources Alabama has. If I had to budget money as much as DeBoer had to, I would make proven players the priority too - current roster and good transfers. Washington had 1 five star from high school. I'll be DeBoer gets more here.

How does DeBoer address the thin and inexperienced wide receiver core

He has to be aware now that Ryan Williams is priority number 1. Once the WR coach is made official. His first call needs to be to Williams.

If we could get Williams to recommit, I think we would be fine at WR. Prentice, Hale, and Law have had their flashes, and everyone thinks Williams is a stud. Henderson is an A+ athlete that hasn't gotten a chance yet for bouncing back and forth between positions.

WR Kobe Prentice 5'10 182 JR
WR Kendrick Law 5'11 201 JR
WR E.Henderson 6'1 185 JR
WR Jalen Hale 6'1 189 SO
WR Cole Adams 5'10 186 RFR
WR Jaren Hamilton 6'1 200 RFR
WR Ryan Williams 6'0 165 FR
WR Amari Jefferson 6'0 200 FR
WR Rico Scott 6'1 185 FR

Henderson hasn't bounced back and forth, he played at WR last year and was injured this year. I thought i understood he had a hip injury early in the season and struggled to overcome it.

My hope is the new offense scheme can make good players better. This staff has to get more out of what we have.

Can they? Or is 22 and 26 going to stand on the sideline this season as well.

I'm hoping some of these guys from Washington that are entering the portal end up here. There are at least 3 starters that have declared for the portal so far that I think would start here next year if they came.

Jabbar Muhammad (CB)
Asa Turner (S)
Nate Kalepo (IOL)

Well McClellan is in the draft and Roydell is at FSU, so unless we decide to play empty with 5 WRs every play, we are going to see plenty of 22 and 26.

Now Niblack is in the portal.

This is the dumbest one yet. DeBoer/Grubb use the tight end a ton. He was due a big uptick in production with the incoming staff and outgoing WRs.

I have our current scholarship numbers at 80 with 5 open as of today, taking into account the December signees and the guys currently in the portal.

Washington has two starters in he portal. DB and an OL.

The DB has already stated that Coach has contacted him already. The OL has started for two years.

We'll see I guess.

Hoping DeBoer knocks it out the park with Ryan Williams and KJ Lacey this weekend on their visit.

Can't announce Grubb and Shepherd fast enough.

I hope so but it will be tough. I’m not getting my hopes up.

Jaime Ffrench visiting this weekend too.

I've honestly felt great about Ryan Williams the entire time, right or wrong. He wants to be here, it's just not gonna be for free.
