I’d take a boring one over one with a lot of action like Florida had today. Sometimes boring is good. We have an amazing class.

We also finished #2 in all the major recruiting services. It was an all around solid class.

So if I'm reading the On3 site correctly, we still have outstanding (not yet signed):
- Ryan Williams (as expected)
- Jayshawn Ross
- Quinton Reese
- Favour Edwin (although I'm not sure who he's signing with)
Everyone else has signed. Is that right?
On the plus side, I don't think we lost any commitments to a late flip.

Ryan Williams will sign in February. So we get to sweat those rumors out.
QB Reese might have a spot. That is all still murky. A February signee.

Kadarious Calloway is in the portal again. Played at Old Dominion this season. He’s moved around a lot since signing with Alabama in 2021. He transferred out before the season started that year.

Been working my arse off for the last 36 years and recently retired. So I am a little out of touch with the details on NIL.
Does anybody really understand how all this shite works? Are the payments up front? Installments? Performance based? Reported and taxable?
Can't find much detail at all on this. Very interested if there are any experts on this (especially if the income is taxable). Thanks in advance.

Signing day isn't as big as it used to be. It's not quite as impactful either. These recruits could jump in the portal year 1 and the recruiting starts all over again.
This happens almost every year, though. We getting errrbody turns into just getting the guys we knew we were getting...and we end up with a top 1-2 class.
We're 12-1 and on our way to compete for a Natty. Ohio State and Georgia would trade Bolden or Houston in a heartbeat for that chance. We have Downs. We have plenty of talent at D line.
Successful day today imo.
