Oh yeah? how many battles were fought in Alabama? Maryland and Virginia was the frontline, buddy boy. Only thing Lee feared was the Army of the Potomac. Last I checked capital of the confederacy was in Richmond. That's like a 2 hour drive from me.

Big ten has one football championship this century

Doesn't matter they've made up 54% of all titles.
Yes they dominated the pre integration era pretty thoroughly.
Of course that was almost 60 years ago.
Bama has won more NC since 1960 than your entire conference combined and most of those were by a team (Nebraska) who wasn’t even a member yet and hasn’t won anything since 1995.
In the last 15 years the B10 has one title compared to the SEC with 11.
Maybe it’s best not to come around here barking about blue bloods when all of yours outside of Ohio State are retired at this point?

College Park, Baltimore, all of it?

Blue blood means royalty. Its old money, and had you not got texas and OU, you'd be the only duck standing. The majority of the SEC is johnny come lately.

Irrelevant or you're confused or both.
Maryland has not been considered a southern state since joining the Union.
But, to answer your question.
Of most significant battles:
124 in VA
8 in AL
7 in MD

And the SEC will still have more national championships.

Those are fine programs but not elite. Of that bunch, Tennessee is the closest. LSU has the titles but they're too inconsistent.
Ummm, OP listed Nebraska, Michigan, and USC right?
Can you share the last time any of those were relevant or consistent.

Cause we keep them confederates in VA and they couldn't go north. Maryland locked down the Potomac.
Where were you draft dodging yokels anyway? Didn't want to come play in the wilderness with us

Notre Dame is almost Minnesota level in terms of being "blue blood" at this point.
1 championship in 40+ years at this point.

Slightly OT but according to Miami insider posters at CanesInsight they are pretty confident that Miami will join the SEC and Clemson is their partner.
Announcement could come by the end of the season or potentially before and it's pretty much a done deal with some small things to work out, 2024-2025 is the timeframe to officially join.
FSU is looking to join too and the GOR is "challenging but not insurmountable."

I wonder if they've already agreed to join the SEC and the SEC is just waiting on the B1G to officially announce Oregon and the other PAC teams for them to announce their additions. Assuming what has come out today about Oregon meeting with B1G is true.

Remember when the b10 folks used to talk trash about our SEC chants and now we've got Mr crabcakes and football simping for Nebraska...amazing times maybe they'll start chanting leaders and legends at their games
