Are UGA, LSU, and Bama the only SEC schools to win a real natty in football?

Those three schools won titles on the field in a playoff. None of this mythical bullshite. No debate. No computers deciding who the two best teams are. Those three schools won a natty the way God intended. And I’m sorry, but 2017 UCF doesn’t have a legitimate debate.

No, and you're an idiot for even suggesting it.

2017 Bama wouldn’t be the national champions under any other system other than a playoff. Was 2017 Bama the best team that year? Yes, because they proved it on the field. No popularity contests or voting, just football.

You can argue hard breaks in CFB. Early 70s integration. BCS. Playoff. It helps when talking about program success.

Hey dumbass, a 4 team playoff isn’t much different than a 2 team playoff which is what the bcs was.

Hey dumbass, by definition a playoff can’t consist of two teams. That’s just a game.

Don't even remotely give a crap. There has never in the history of the playoffs been a #4 team that deserved a shot at the national championship. The #4 team is merely needed to fill in a spot.

It's fine when the #4 team wins it all, they earned it on the field. But to say a system is fricked up because it wouldn't have allowed Alabama(or Ohio St in 2014) to win the national championship is total bullshite. If we had been under the BCS system, it would not have even remotely been an issue that Alabama didn't make it.

Aside from that, history is history, learn to deal with it.

Why am I not surprised UGA fans want to ignore the BCS even though those were also won the field?

Now imagine you’re a fan of a team that doesn’t regularly compete for national championships and make the same argument. Your logic is flawed and you’re looking at it through the lens of a Bama fan.

Look at 2003 and 2004 and tell me that the best team earned it on the field during the BCS. Why do Gators want to ignore discussing the playoff era? Anyone?

I'm looking through the lens of common sense and having been a fan of the sport for many decades. I've lived and been a fan in the poll era, the bcs era and the playoff era.

There was as much debate in the BCS era as the poll era. Didn’t solve anything. The playoff solves everything and needs to expand to 12.

The only reason a gator fan is down on the playoff is because Tim Tebow is gone and y’all are completely irrelevant during this era.
