Forgive me, I have a short memory for transfers, etc

Lee Hunter would be considered a big transfer in my opinion. I guess Pegues as well. We lost a few players that could have developed into difference makers

Ok.
IF they develop and become full time starters, then I guess it is a loss.
Bo was a 30 game starter at QB.
He likely would be starting this season at AU.
I’m not saying Bo was perfect. He would have been the starting QB so it is a loss to portal.
Hunter is a mystery.
Pegues was a likely contributor on defensive line, but not a full time All-SEC starter.

NICE! He should draw them a map.

We lost our hands down best option (and starter) at QB. There’s no way to spin that positively. That’s a bad bad look.

Nobody can realistically look at Auburn’s roster and think it’s not at the bottom of the SEC in terms of quality of player.
On offense, there is simply a lack of talent at WR, OL and a huge question mark at OC.
ETA: When I say bottom, I mean towards the bottom. Not the worst. That would be Vandy.

What comment are you laughing at? Do you think our roster is healthier than when Harsin took the reigns?

I am laughing that you think Bo is a QB.

I’m no Bo fan but who the hell do we have now that puts us in a better spot?

Auburn still has about the 6th most talented roster in the SEC. When during the middle of Gus’ tenure we we around 4th. aTm has passed us now. Florida has passed us but not by a huge margin. UTk is closing but still a ways to go before we are passed.
Some seem to forget Gus staff were solid recruiter. Gus also beat Bama. Plus he rarely outside of bowl games would lose to a team that we clearly had more talent.
At this point unless you are in the playoffs I don’t think judging a coach by bowl games is the way to go. Good or bad. Other then sending us into the off season with a losing record I don’t even Judge Harsin on bowl games. Way to many variables involved outside of what the coach can control.

Calzada has more upside. Put up similar numbers last year despite no spring or summer workouts as #1, didn't start until later in the season and was a freshman. Ashford is a hell of lot more talented. We upgraded by that asshat just leaving.

Explain to me like I’m 2 how you see more upside in Calzada?
So team A has a QB that can’t get on the field and player from team B goes to Team A and named the starter yet the the former Team A QB transfers to Team B and he’s better then the QB that transferred to Team A and became the starter.
For those that can’t follow along… Ashford was 3rd string at Oregon couldn’t get on the field. Transfers to Auburn. Bo transfers to Oregon and is named the starter. Ashford transfers here and is better then Bo as well?
I thought Bo only played because he was Gus’ favorite and because his daddy.
Still wondering how many passes Gatewood has completed since leaving Auburn as well because a couple of y’all said Gatewood was better then Bo as well.

I literally did in two sentences.

No you have opinion based on little evidence. And said a guy that played the same amount of games as Bo or possibly 1 more. On a better team with better supporting cast yet still didn’t put up the numbers Bo did yet has a higher ceiling? And said Ashford was more talented. Based on what?
And I’m high on Calzada but he’s no Bo. Now does both moves Calzada to Auburn and Bo to Oregon work best for us? Of course
I hope it does.
Never understood the Gus hate and definitely never got the Bo hate at all.

Calzada is in his 4th season as a college QB now. If you think Bo was done developing how is Calzada still developing?
Calzada was the 487th ranked prospect in the 2019 class. Bo was the 33rd ranked prospect in the 2019 class.

Well because Bo and his erratic/backyard style play has left Auburn so there is no direction to go but up, right?
Disregard the lack of OL and WR talent On the roster. No big deal. Calzada and Ashford will simply throw to themselves.
