Yes, they will. We have a strength program now with Pit, not a voluntary program with Russell. We have seven equivalent starters on OL as well.

Gus didn’t have a voluntary workout program. Stop lying.

Gus put more players in the NFL then Tuberville did while at Auburn. Obviously the no workout plan must have worked.

Some of y’all don’t even under high school sports and how much working out you have to do now. Even out of season we workout 4 days a week. College during off season is normally 6 times a week and 1 day of rest. During the season for football they still lift on Monday and Tuesday but not for bulk just to maintain

Show the lists. I’m curious to see the lack of offensive players Gus had drafted as an offensive “guru.”

Russell didn't enforce attendance on lifting or cardio. Pit does. Hardcore. Fact.

Rodney Garner wanted his DL to show up to camp overweight and "play into shape". Fact.

What else do you want to know?

Auburn won’t be last in the SEC west this year, 2023 I believe Auburn will be 10-14 in the SEC.

I refuse to believe either of these are true. Both make zero sense

Again, Alpine has to be an opposing fanbase trolling this board.

No way he’s this dumb.

You are calling three former players liars, not me.

Kozan (from the communist state of Colorado), Reese Dismukes, and the OL that transferred to Boise State from Auburn all said it on a podcast. I listened to it, probably others here did as well.

Take it easy, sizzle chest. I'll see if I can find it elsewhere. I didn't click on the episode before I linked it, I just assumed it worked.

I don’t know what you heard, but I’m just saying, you got the context wrong or something. I’ve read too many times in the past about their 6am workouts and nobody voluntarily wakes up that early.

The context is that all three stated/agreed that some guys never did any non-football practice work. I think it was Dismukes that said something to the effect of 'we had linemean that were in better aerobic shape than the skill guys' and Kozan and Will Adams agreed. I'll find it and you can listen to it yourself. Will Adams also talked about Pitman at Boise State. He's old school and they lifted heavy weight at Boise State and that's what we're are doing now at Auburn. That can lead to injuries. Russell didn't have that kind of program.

Just to help, here is the podcast: Soundcloud Link to Podcast

Also, here is the discussion of the podcast here: Auburn Board Link

Around the 38:00 mark, Will Adams said he was hoping Harsin would keep Russell, and bring Pitman under him. He said Auburn needed a big dose of mental toughness and Pitman would give that to them.

ETA:

Yes, the above statement was said in the podcast as well.

From listening to the interview, Will Adams liked both coaching staffs, and was very fond of Russell. Claims it was Russell that told him he should check out Boise St.
