Why are so many of you ashamed to admit you watch Finebaum?

I actually have a job, so I don’t watch that often, but I do watch when I can…but I’ve noticed that all the cool kids on tRant brag that they “haven’t watched Paul in 5 years”…why is that? Is he awful? Of course he is, but which talking head isn’t? Help a poor from little Mississippi understand why I should hate Finebaum? TIA

Because watching Finebaum makes it difficult to deny that this place is any better.
The overlap in opinion quality and depth of analysis between Finebaum and tRant is significant.

To elevate Finebaum they need to have SummerofGeorge sitting in the corner with some stats at the ready, like a CFB Jaime from Rogan.

I didn't find Paul himself to be all that bad, often times I agreed with him. But I 100% can not deal with open lines and all that.
I don't watch any of the shows on ESPN or sports channels. It's all just bullshite. They have the same basic scripts year after year, they just change out the names. Fake arguments just to generate "content". Most of the time they are wrong because they are just as clueless as the average fan. Speaking of which, I can get those opinions here.
I order live TV at the end of August and cancel it after the NCG. The only thing I watch are the games themselves.

Anyone on the rant that shows support to Pawls show is 100% undoubtedly the same clowns that call in to that show and make a fool of themselves on a daily basis.

I tried one time in college to call in and troll, and not a single call went through in the hour I tried. Don't hate me, I was high after class one day.

Finebaum became significantly less interesting when he expanded his focus from just the Alabama/Auburn rivalry to trying to be a quasi-national show. Finebaum himself was never the star of his own program and I was rarely interested in the extended interviews he did, but a couple of hours of Alabama rednecks calling to scream at each other incoherently about the Tide and the Tigers was can't-miss radio.

I used to listen occasionally when driving, I did hear the tree killer confess live, and immediately knew that shite was real

I usually listen 10-15 mins on the way home from work and that’s about all I can take of it these days. Used to love it 2002ish til 2012ish. It’s lost it’s luster.
