bullshite, this season has already been an astonishing success. Have all of you already forgotten the records you predicted for us preseason. Most were saying 6-6 again or at best 7-5. Many were saying we would have a losing record. I said 8-4 preseason, and it looks like we will do better than that.

considering how terribly Auburn has played, Alabamas great start and the streak it would be pretty bad for Alabama if they lost the iron bowl. I wouldn't call it a complete failure, but it would be pretty bad.

A buddy of mine that is an Alabama fan has this theory that deep down every Alabama and Auburn fan would rather go 1-11 and win the iron bowl than go 11-1 with a loss in the iron bowl but get a chance to play for the national title. He claims that the embarrsment of winning a national title but losing the iron bowl would completely contradict the usual joy that comes with winning a championship. As an Auburn fan I have to admit...after all the crap alabama fans have given us about the championship drought, if we did finally win one but lost to Alabama...that would be pretty awful.

He's not alone. And that's why IMO,the Iron Bowl is the most overblown, overrated rivalry in College Football. Rather beat Alabama/Auburn than win NC. Oh boy ! We're 5-6,but we beat Auburn !

I've gotta agree with Rollie Fingers. 3 years ago yall were 10-0 then lost to LSU & Auburn in back to back games & the next year you fire the coach who got you to 10-2.

Saban, like Miles does not like humiliating the opposing coach. This is not Steve Spurrier/Urban Meyer we are talkin about.

This is the worst Auburn team in a long time.

LuckyLes usually has problems with right/wrong, left/right and so on...but in this instance, he is spot on.

bullshite. If it has been said once, it has been said a million times by idiot gumps, "Bama judges themselves by championships". Period. Everytime AU would bring up the fact they have the most wins of any SEC program this decade (other than LSU) or 50 wins in the last 5 seasons, dumbfrick gumps would say this.

Can't have it both ways dipshits. If Bama goes 13-1 this year and does not win the NC, they are a failure according to Bama and Bama fans should call the season a failure and nothing else just like 27 of the last 28 seasons. Otherwise STFU and admit what you have been saying and is your mantra is all "bullshite".

if we go 9-3 it will be disappointing, but that does not mean the season was a failure, and i think any reasonable Bama fan would agree with me

LuckyLes....you obviously don't understand the Iron Bowl. Stats...history...season record...they don't matter about this game. Auburn comes to play this game every single season.... Also, Teletubby has a winning record against Saban if you want to go by stats.

This is said quite alot. But history shows that the favorite usually does win this game. More so than not.

You do not no who the favorite will be this year though. Auburn could turn it around at any time. Alabama could have a meltdown like last season.
