Absolutely Marshall has a good chance at the job. He will enroll in May.

He will fill Reuben Fosters spot nicely.

57 is void, as they were on probation

So 2009 and 2011 are void for bama. Good to know.

we all know dabo wont suspend him for a game vs auburn. hes got too much bammer in him

This. He will give him the ice cream cone treatment.
On defense, Kris frost (redshirt freshman) has been runnning at first team OLB along with daren bates and is expected to start so he might be a newcomer you want to watch. Also Roberson Therezie is a sophmore that has been working as the starting corner opposite chris davis. Therezie played some last year as a freshman but was not a starter. At safety Enrique florence will be one of the starters, along with either jermaine whitehead or demetruce mcneal. Kenneth Carter and Gabe Wright are out with injuries at DT so you will probably see allot of younger guys, Blackson and Sigler are two guys that played as freshman that show allot of promise IMO.

On offense, Greg robinson is a redshirt freshman at LT that has been getting allot of positive feedback from coaches and players. At running back, Grant and Blakely are two transfer players that will be eligible this coming year that are probably worth keeping an eye on (Same with Jay prosch at fullback). At WR sammie coates has been getting allot of hype since he came to campus but didnt play last year with an injury. Also at WR Quan Bray really seemed to come on at the end of the year as a true freshman.

What has been the best defense AU has faced up to date?

Mississipi State is ranked 13th nationally in overall Defense.

Clemson=30th
USC=39th
Arky=55th

Our Center (Pugh) and Left Tackle (Ziemba) are both seniors and have started since they were freshman. Our guards (Berry and Isom) are both seniors and three year starters. Our right tackle (Mosley) is a first year Juco guy that was a 4 star but only played tight end and DE (he is around 6-6 300 pounds though). Mosley enrolled in spring and has started for us since the Clemson game. He has stepped up pretty nicely considering he never played tackle before IMO. The line has stepped it up big time since the Clemson game but they have not faced a D line of the caliber they will face either.

could you give us a little explanation of what you mean by inverted veer.

The inverted veer is a combination of the zone read (the QB is in the shotgun and reads the DE), the speed sweep (the RB runs laterally and attempts to reach the corner), and a veer option because the QB and RB are heading towards the same side of the field. The regular veer sends the RB inside while the QB steps around the DE. The inverted veer just switches the QB to stepping inside while the RB runs laterally.

Auburn has had a fair amount of success running this play this year because McCalebb (the RB we usually use for this play) is very fast to the corner and Newton is obviously a big running threat inside.

Interesting for AU

Sounds like we are in pretty good shape for Quan Bray.

Auburn seriously needs to GTFO of LA

Yall have gotten some pretty good players out of bama in recent years as well. Sam Gibson and Ken Adams (who are both studs) just last year.

That's all great until you have agents fighting over you.

Ok, perhaps these comments by Ziemba are more relevant then.

SNAPSHOTS: Ziemba has seen agent runners at Auburn
Hey everyone. In talking with Lee Ziemba today, he said something very interesting.

The senior said he's seen agent runners, the guys who do an agent's dirty work, around campus before. How does he know them?

"They usually introduce themselves," Ziemba said.

Isn't that weird?

``You know who you're dealing with," he said, ``and you also know those rules. Not a lot goes unnoticed around Auburn. We know what's going on, what the rules are. Auburn does a great job of telling us."

I stand corrected.

It is true. He's at AU now. He's not at our Camp, and has been a no-show all week. He may choose LSU in the end, but just letting you know what I'm hearing

Don't know about yalls camp for sure (i did hear he skipped) but I know he is in AU (has been since monday) and is planning on staying all week.
Georgia without a doubt. LSU second.
I think they would be happy about it. I actually had a group of LSU fans stop me when they saw my AU hat at the flora bama to talk to me about that very subject. Their theory was that as much success that Tubs had at AU he could have even more at LSU where it wouldn't be as hard to recruit. These were actually somewhat intelligent LSU fans (I didn't know they existed either) so the crowd that thinks AU never beats LSU without paying off refs may not feel the same way.
I imagine it's pretty frustrating for a school like texas tech to be in that situation. Oklahoma, Texas A & M, and Missouri all have other options if they want out but Texas Tech really does not have any.

Nobody will know until the season gets here. I think it will be tough for him to get very much playing time as a freshman because of the WRs we have coming back in front of him that have age and experience going for them. Most AU fans I have talked to seem to agree he might get some playing time at kick or punt return and possibly some playing time at the slot position (similar to travante stallworth last year before he was hurt).

He hasn't committed anywhere yet.

I can't beleive he just hung up on me. All I said was "I just wanted to hear the sound of your voice, you sound like a winner!". Maybe he is a prima donna.
