This is regarding quarterback Jaden Reshada turning down $11M from Florida to go to Miami for $9.5M

We aren’t good at cheating. Sadly.

We are right there with you my friend. I hope LSU can get their NIL shite together.

This NIL thing is a complete disaster for amateurs.
Schools cheated before NIL and the will cheat after. Just call them semipro and be done with the student athlete charade.

Steering all his clients etc does he think he’s a agent lol…. His si gojng tie broke badly for some school. OU isn’t even bribing up Nil much anymore after Oregon boosters stole 3 of our recruits . We will win with 4 stars and some 3s

What you mean their 25 recruit staffers who were just gifted job titles like director of gameday DJing can't figure out NIL? Shocker

Sounds like some agent wanted a little something more on the side and didn’t get it.

These agents are a pain in the arse

Yep. Just like that.

I don’t get any school paying that much for an unproven high school recruit. You mean you can’t poach an already established P5 QB at another school through the portal for $9.5 million? Doesn’t make sense to me.

Prime example of what is against NCAA rules. Florida dodged a bullet.

Sounds like agent was dirty as hell by that statement from Florida

Sounds like he wanted to negotiate and increase his cut and Florida wouldn't play ball.

Unfortunately if you have the wrong people handling this shite, its going to set your program back.

Rashada is a good quarterback not great and sounds like Florida lucked out not dealing with his people.

NIL is a joke. Paying a 17 year old kid 10M to live in Miami is going to be a complete disaster lol.

i'm more interested in what Josh Pate had to say tonight...
LINK
"There should be a fair amount of concern in Florida right now...At Florida there is a lot right now that needs to change...To be blunt, Florida has not adjusted to it (NIL). Notice I didn't say Billy Napier, I said Florida."
"How would you drive on the interstate tonight if you were 100% certain there were no cops in front of you...A lot of folks in college football are realizing this now at different speeds...Whatever can be done right now, Florida's not doing enough of it."
"You can do one of two things. You can either recalibrate your expectation level and lower it and say 'good solid 7-win season, that's what we want, Billy' or you can give him the resources [Napier] needs to go out and compete."
"He's never going to come out and say it, but I don't think he's operating on a level playing field with some of the other staffs he's asked to compete against. I don't think he's operating on the same playing field as Georgia. I don't think he's operating on the same playing field as Miami. And that's gotta change or you better be comfortable finishing second and third and watching these recruiting battles turn at the last minute."
"I'm not absolving this staff....Florida is going to have to take one on the chin in the 2023 recruiting cycle. What do they do moving forward? And what position is the staff put in moving forward."
"How anybody doubted Miami would get their act together in recruiting is beyond me. That's the dumbest thing in the world....Mario Cristobal is a psychopath when it comes to recruiting. They will never not be good at it."
