Their pitching staff started balling out at the right time man. It happens, one day it’ll be us

The world is turned upside down when two Mississippi schools win the CWS back to back.

It will hurt seeing Ole Miss win a natty before us. The team we could always look to so we feel better wins it before us. Just shows Arkansas is the real Ole Miss

After our series win over Ole Miss, they went on a 15-3 run to finish the season. Including a sweep of LSU. They had talent all season which is why they were ranked as high as #1 in the polls.
Just goes to show, it’s not about the season as a whole, it’s about getting ultra hot at just the right time and having Lady Luck on your side.
If the best roster in baseball won it every year, the Yankees would win the title in MLB 85% of the time.
I’ve basically come to the conclusion it takes a really strong individual to be a baseball fan. The sport isn’t fair. One centimeter is the difference between a Homerun and a fly out to left. One inch is the difference between striking out three in a row or walking three in a row. A toenail is the difference between being out at first and safe. A half inch is the difference between a base hit up the middle and lining into a double play.
It is what it is. If you’re a fan of the sport at any level, you learn to deal with the heartbreak the sport deals you.

You can thank DVH being a dumbass by not pitching Hagen Smith the first game.

With our luck, he would get blitzed and get the hook in the second inning. It is easy to say that he made the wrong decision.

Yeah it’s not like he skipped someone Blaine Knight level great. Ole Miss is good enough to rock anyone we throw out there on this staff if they’re not on.

Ole Miss scored two runs in our other two games. They don't "rock" everyone we throw out there on our staff.
DVH panicked in the post-season, just like he always does. He threw an "all-lefties" strategy in Game 1 (which he abandoned after a couple pitchers and the game was already out of hand) and the results are clear. It was stupid to pass over McIntire and throw a bunch of inexperienced relievers. I mean, typing that, I can't honestly believe that's what we did. We literally gave Ole Miss Game 1.
He also pulled Taylor after he gave up one hit, and nearly gave them the win in Game 2.
DVH made terrible decisions in the CWS. He usually does.
2018 was his year. He doesn't have the mental-toughness to win anything. He has two SEC titles in 20 years.
Those of you who compared him to Saban aren't seeing it. DVH is like Saban, if Saban had Bama's money, fan support and facilities, and never won a single NCAA title, and only won the SEC every 10 years or so.
That's what Arkansas baseball is like. Doing way less than everybody else, with way more.

Smith would have been used that game if hadn’t got out of hand early. He yanked Morris pretty quick but Taylor wasn’t much better. Then we were in let’s see how this goes mode with ramage and Wiggins. And it went bad.
Also it was a tight zone that night. The ole miss pitcher could paint corners for strikes. We couldn’t. It was walks or right over the middle.

Dale printed your post out with it laid it out in plain sight, has his eyes glued to it, and is hammering his johnson rod like it stole his lunch money.

Pretty silly to bash anything about a program that is consistently in the mix to win it all. We were the third from last team out this year even after having our ace pitcher injured and lost for the year.
Once we do win one...I'd expect another 2-3 in pretty quick succession also.

zero in 9 tries and now he's going to win 3
interesting

Get out of here with that sound logic.

OU looks terrible at that. We also prob 2-0 for a title from the looks of it. Oh well.

Ole Miss winning really fricking sucks

I think we just need to be shitty for 3/4 of the year and then you can win one. Seems to be the recipe.
