Why should we even care? According to the posters of this website, we just became baseball fans this season. As such, we have no reason to give a damn about your precious history because we don't have any.

Because you don’t get there by asking nicely. You get there by prying success out of the cold dead hands of opponents. It’s what Spurrier did at Florida and it’s what Saban did at LSU. Tony has the right idea. It’s also odd to think that LSU baseball wasn’t a powerhouse until 30 years ago. It’s almost like a gifted and determined coach can alter the trajectory of a program

I would beg the differ. UT baseball has been nationally televised this year mroe rhsn any other team in the SEC if not the country. Ben Joyce has been on ESPN multiple times and has gotten ALL sports fans attention with his 105 mph fastball. You have people watching UT now that are not fans for a couple reasons, 1. To see if they lose, and 2. To see if Ben Joyce pitches. So try again bitch!!!!

Vitello- HC at UT since 2018
Sec Titles - 1
190-75 since 2018
So Vitello has won the same amount of SEC titles in 4 years that it took DVH to win in 20 years. Vitello is on his way to passing DVH. I think I’ll take Vitello going forward as he will pass DVH in accomplishment in half the time it took DVH.

Skip was gifted and determined yet had class and respect for the game and his opponents. No one faults Tennessee for being great and winning games. It's the bull that Tony encourages along with it.

I cannot blame them for their obnoxious exuberance. Football has been such an incredible disappointment to the Vols that they have to go all in on anything else. They have not had less than four losses in football since 2004. So when a second tier sport has a few years of success after over a decade in the basement of the SEC East they get a little uppity.
