re: The season is over, how do you feel about your team's season?
Posted by Cdub_tiger on 11/28/22 at 9:29 am
LSU's season is an incredible success. Last game was disappointing but when you look at the roster for last year's bowl game (WR playing Qb) and fast forward to now playing for the chance to win the conference, fans can't use any descriptor other than success or overachieving.
SEC Thanksgiving - What are you thankful for?

Vandy's field "rush"
Lane Kiffin
Auburn (that hurt a little to say)
Aggie boosters
Cheers to everyone

"not very good" was my way of being sarcastic. A "bad" football team.
This is a worst case scenario for Ole Miss

Ole Miss hasn't controlled their own destiny to Atlanta this far into the season very often. Since Kiffin took the helm, the fanbase has been expecting this. Rightfully so in my opinion. Now that the season is starting to materialize, the pressure is building.
Bad scenario at a pivotal point in the season, traveling to Baton Rouge and a not very good LSU program with nothing to lose. Rivalry game. They are supposed to win. Do they escape? All I know is I'm staying away from this one on the betting apps. (Although my brain says bet the house on Ole Miss)

2021 Navigator Vehicle Recall - Underhood Fire
Posted by Cdub_tiger on 8/9/22 at 10:10 am
Just got the notice that our vehicle "may catch fire" when the vehicle is running or with engine off and parked. "Do not park in garage."
"Parts will be available in September 2022 to address recalled components."
Sooooooo we just play spontaneous engine fire roulette until then? Was told by the dealer that the "recall representative" will let me know when to bring it in. Anyone have to deal with similar issue on their vehicles?

re: Why is Tennessee baseball the bad guy?

Skip was gifted and determined yet had class and respect for the game and his opponents. No one faults Tennessee for being great and winning games. It's the bull that Tony encourages along with it.

oh there is nothing wrong with being excited. Great season. Great athletes. But the persona adopted by the players and coaches screams "look at me" as opposed to a bona fide winner. sort of like the OK State guy in the Arky game.
Why is Tennessee baseball the bad guy?

Answer: they act like they've been here all along when they don't even have a seat at the table yet.

cost of installation? Market average seems to be between $6-12 per square foot.

This stretch running from siegen/burbank passed CCL always amazes me when i drive it. doesn't feel like Baton Rouge. How many widgets i need to sell to live down there?
re: Alabama had a pretty good gap year

One of the better coaching jobs by Saban. Bama fell victim to the injury bug that they often seem to escape. Would have been a different game. Great season nonetheless.
CFP Scenario
Posted by Cdub_tiger on 11/22/21 at 12:36 pm
If (and big if) Auburn beats Bama and Bama turns around and beats UGA in SEC Championship with OSU, Cincy, and ND winning remaining games. What happens?
I would assume UGA still in even though in this hypo they would have lost to a two loss team ranked somewhere 7-10. Does the CFP committee bump a one loss ND for two loss SEC champ Bama?
