Enjoy your day, give thanks to the folks long gone before us. Listen to this at least once.
Eat bbq, enjoy the sun, try something new - yesterday I power washed for the first time, that’s fun not work I may have to pull out that baby again today and find something else to spray.

Can’t help but be grumpy, had my hip replaced last Thursday, haha.
Have a good day and thank you to those who made the ultimate sacrifice so we can live in the greatest country on earth…

Thank you piggi!
God Bless those patriots who defended our great nation and gave the ultimate sacrifice. They died so that we can live free.
Also this is my favorite for Memorial Day.
Some gave all

Same to you and everyone here!
Let’s all remember those who didn’t make it back, so we can enjoy the amazing freedoms we cherish in the greatest country on earth.
God Bless the USA!!

Happy memorial day you internet shits! I'm going to watch saving private Ryan, my customary memorial day movie. Of the whole movie, my favorite part is the reading of the Bixby letter. Always gets me.

the scene where the car is coming up the road to the house, and the Mom catches herself barely as she sits on the porch realizing what's coming when she sees military men getting out of the car

One of the great oxymorons of our society is Happy Memorial Day when there is nothing happy about it at all. I hope everyone will set aside a part of their day to give solemn remembrance to those who sacrificed for the freedoms we enjoy today.
Oh and I watched Stalag 17, one of my all time favorite war movies. If you have not seen it, set aside about an hour and fifty minutes to watch it. A great movie with William Holden and a very young Peter Graves among other great actors.
