We’ve never dealt with this much rain since the tournament moved to 12 teams. We had an entire day washed out around 2006, but the tournament only had 8 teams in it so they were able to work around that more easily.
so the SEC should have had Nostradamus subcontracted as a consultant

Tell me you don’t understand pitching staffs without telling me you don’t understand pitching staffs. Playing double headers on back to back days 4 days before the NCAAT is idiotic
so SEC tournament before the NCAAT is the only time in the history of baseball that we need to slam the breaks on double headers and say it's too much
can you provide some cutting edge contemporary literature on the needed demise of doubleheaders?

Yes, the Hoover chamber of commerce is responsible for the rain. I was wondering when someone would be bitching about something out of anyones control. Good grief. Let me guess, move it to A domed stadium. The amount of fans and TV money made for people that attend the SEC tourney wont pay for the lights in a major league domed stadium.
This is not football.

You can not want it in a dome, but don't be silly. You think the Big 12 has more money because they can pay for Globelife?

The rain will be done for good this afternoon.

This type of rain setting in hasn’t happened to the SEC tourney in years. It’s usually spot showers and sweating your arse off in 90°+ weather.

Have the tourney in the Super Dome and you don't have to worry about the weather...

I didn't say that. I said they should have taken advantage of reasonable contingencies available to them they failed to do. Never have I even inferred they should have predicted what the weather would be.

Is it just your thing to intentionally mischaracterize arguments?

How bout 2?
1) making the tournament single elimination once they realized they probably wouldn't be able to get all the games in
2) playing games simultaneously at the Met and at Samford. It's already been announced that Samford's stadium is available if needed.
Either of those options (or both) would have benefitted getting the tournament played to completion. They've done neither, and now we're in a situation where round 2 may not be completed until Friday morning, leaving 10 games to be played from Friday morning through Sunday afternoon. They've known about this weather since before the tournament began.
They can't do this because they are contractually obligated to show every game on the SECN. They can't play games simultaneously due to not having TV trucks/equipment available for 2 locations.

You had lunch in Hoover?
