Thanks for the share. The sheer amount of top tier talent (and coaching) in this conference is unreal.

It really is.

LSU's Johnson, fresh from coaching Arizona to the conference championship, the CWC & being voted Conference Coach of the Year last year had this to say about the difference between the PAC 12 & the SEC : "no offense to the PAC 12 but there is no comparison between the 2 leagues. The PAC 12 is top heavy but the whole SEC is a grind, top to bottom. Every team is capable of beating any other League team."

My only minor complaint is that Rock should be first team over Bradfield Jr. I know he's a weapon, but Rock has the edge in batting average, on-base percentage, slugging percentage, runs batted in, and the same number of runs scored. He's not as good defensively or on the base paths, but he's no slouch either. 15/20 SBs.
I also want to argue for Jack Moss (.366/.430/.528) but 1st base is so ridiculously loaded that I don't have a case.

I wanted Wyatt Langford on the 1st team OF, but it is so stacked I can't argue. Congrat's to all who were recognized.

Crazy that Jacob Berry is going to be a top 10-15 pick and is second team.

And led the league in batting average. If he doesn’t get hurt he prolly ends up being player of the year. He was ablaze when he went down.

It is interesting that you can win the SEC west and not have a single first team player. Team effort I guess

Well, those lists tell me what I need to know about the state of Hogs baseball.

No Razorbacks on the 1st or 2nd team. Looks like our coaching wasn't so hot this year or our recruiting really missed. Either way, it's probably a miracle we finished 3rd overall.

Berry being second team is simply because he’s a third basemen and he wasn’t going to beat Lipscomb out, who has a legit argument to be player of the year.

The USA Today awards are pretty much all Vols.

Hilarious. Lipscomb robbed for the sake of not giving every award to the VOLS.

I’ll trust the vote or the SEC coaches over some national publication that hardly even pays attention to college baseball.

You act like Crews and Sonny Ds’ numbers were right there if not better than Lipscomb’s

Best player on the best team and had the best stats. Maybe one of those should’ve shared it with him at best. This is a Will Wade situation and I’m here for the rustled coaches.

He didn’t have the best stats

Except for the fact he did.
