Read your headline and then tell me who’s trolling. You now say you heard it on radio but you ran here to post inflammatory thread headline saying that the upgrades mean we win sec in 25. How old are you?

And just about every thread you create is similar to this headline. Are you lonely and looking for any kind of reply because you knew exactly what replies would be posted. And now you blame it all on the radio.

Tell me who your real team is because its not OU and you don’t represent majority of our fanbase.

Had to look up what OU's stadium looks like.
$350 million in renovations?

It definitely needs it.

Must have not looked up the new stadium that was done 8 years ago, and beats out all the SEC for modern amenities

Too bad nobody can see it with the terrible lighting.

It’s first class accommodations for OU fans. Remember 2/3rds of their graduates get food stamps.

At OU, $350 million in renovations is like they are getting a new Disneyland.

Alabama and A&M has this market cornered. They are exceedingly better than any CFB stadium in the country for amenities.

OU can't touch them.

The real question is when will OU open up adequate space for tailgating to match the rest of the SEC, because last map I saw it was about 10-15% by comparison.

This is likely not going to happen to any great degree for two reasons.

1) The city of Norman wants to drive some of the game day festivities (and money) to the commercial districts in town (ie Campus Corner and Downtown) and the University has cooperated with this historically.

2) OU's green spaces have extremely well manicured lawns and they won't let fans tromp around on them and ruin them.

OU does have a green space called the Duck Pond that is off limits right now but could put them up to standards immediately if they chose to open it up.

Finally, the map doesn't show the Lloyd Noble Center which is on the south edge of campus. It has a huge parking lot and there is a lot of tailgaiting that goes on there and that's where the RV's are located.

But the reason why Oklahoma isn't joining until 2025 is because Oklahoma is broke

Yeah, I live in OKC and am down in Norman quite a bit. I really enjoy Norman, but the tailgating has a way to go to get to SEC caliber. I hope OU begins making strides in that direction.

I am an SEC guy and I welcome them to the party. I love that they are bringing the programs up to standard. It helps the conference as a whole. I don't get the hate of Texas and Oklahoma when they bring a lot to the table.

We haven't played you guys at home in over a decade, but thank you for visiting.

Please come back, and don't forget to stop at the gift shop on the way out.

As an LSU fan living in Southwest OKC, a stone's throw from Norman, I was elated at the news. I'll be attending LSU games in Norman every four years or so. I wish OSU would have come with them.
