Arkansas article on Tony Vitello

That's one dude who nobody reads. Honestly, no one I know really cares. We liked Vitello when he was here. He's a good coach. No one outside of Hogville listens to Irwin either. Y'all do y'all. You have a good team. Hopefully we can play in the postseason. But I can honestly say that "we ain't mad AF."

Tony V is great for college baseball. He brings in people that normally wouldn't watch. No one cares about unwritten rules anymore. MLB is starting to play with swag too - quit being a pussy and shut people up by beating them. Makes the game more fun

We did. Daddy Van Horn is 6-1 against Vitello. Including 3-1 last year while smacking that arse in the Championship.

Most of the time the when someone talks shite, mouths off and is in the opponents face they don't handle it very well when its given back to them as good as they give. It will be interesting to see how that goes.

Mike Irwin sucks. You should be banned for at least a week for acting like his opinion is relevant around here.

Is any of that wrong?

He bumped an umpire, which you can't do at any level, and earned himself a 4-game suspension in the midst of the best season Tennessee has ever had in baseball. Not really thinking "team-first" there, all things considered.

And this seems to happen a lot with their staff. I remember Vitello and DVH going at it after a series last year. I remember one of the assistants getting booted out of the UT vs UT CWS elimination game last year, which included screaming at the umpire "you're a fricking pussy" multiple times.

There's no way you can read something like that and think it's completely unfair when Tennessee's coaching staff stands out more than any other staff in the country in that regard.
