Could Will Anderson be our first #1 overall pick since the AFL-NFL merger?

I’m not really sure how the 2023 QB class is stacking up, Bryce Young notwithstanding, but I feel as if Will Anderson has the first pick locked up if he has a season comparable to 2021. The dude just can’t be blocked.

Yep him or bryce. I think stroud is very good but if bryce had that WR corp ohio st had last year we d be talking 5700-5800 yds and 60 tds.

It will be Young or Stroud. Probably Stroud because he is bigger. Top tier QB will always go #1 over anything.

Will will probably go #3

I hope Will gets the biggest insurance policy he can for this next year.

Not in a QB desperate NFL.

He's certainly the current leader for 2023. Of course, it will depend if the team with the #1 pick needs a QB or not. If they do, probably not. If they don't, most likely yes.

We have to keep him healthy. Which scumbag team will be the first to try to cheap shite him?? Florida did it last season. I’m going Texas this season

It was actually Mercer who took a cheap shot on him. Tried to take his knee out and WA had to wear that bulky brace the rest of the year.

This just further deepens my hatred of playing those teams.

Once they really start talking '23 draft, Bryce's size is going to be the big debate point. And there's no doubt he looks extremely small surrounded by the offensive line lol. Kyler Murray is obviously the NFL comparable for Bryce. Similar talent, but Bryce is more mature and probably a better leader to be the face of someone's franchise. I also think Will probably goes #3... assuming no drop off and things play out with Bryce and Stroud both having big seasons. The battle for #1 will be between those two.

The way Dallas Turner came on late last year....I hope he will be a good "counter balance" and help open things up for Will to wreak havoc.

I think Will is the top pick. If he continues on the path he is going no way someone does not take him off the board 1st. He is a generational player at a premium position.

Many of the mock drafts this year show Hutchinson going first with Thib and Walker in the top 3. Will is better than all 3 of those guys and has another year to prove it.

I stand by my statement during the season as I think he will be Saban's 1st overall top draft pick.

Probably won’t be but should be. QB is such a crap shoot in the NFL. Will is the closest thing to Derrick Thomas or Lawrence Taylor since they terrorized opposing QBs. He’s a can’t miss prospect. Anyone that passes on him should have their head examined.

I'd draft 31 if I already had LT and DT on my roster. He's that good.

Depends on who is picking number 1. If it’s is Atlanta or Houston, they will pick Young or Stroud.

The Falcons are going to tank for Young or Stroud.

Just kidding the Falcons are going to start the season 1-10 and then somehow finish 6-11 and get the 8th pick and miss on Young, Stroud, and Anderson.

Murray is an absolute freak athlete.

They aren’t similar QBs at all.

Kinda have to agree. If Young could run as good as Murray Bama goes undefeated last year.

I like how decisive Simpson was when he saw green grass.
