Top 40 NBA Draft prospects presumed gone, no one (who hasn’t announced differently) presumed to be taking a super senior year, freshmen who have committed/signed added in. This is updated pretty much daily and you can play around with it to add uncommitted guys, transfers, guys from other rosters, etc. and see where you’d be.

Yea this is way way way way to early.
KK Robinson and Connor won’t be on our roster next year. Won’t be surprised if one more transfers out.
It also doesn’t have Toney listed who hasn’t said he is leaving and rumors of him coming back
Musselman will had two high level transfers(always does) and we are about to add Anthony Black

If you subtract Robinson and Vanover, add Black + Shannon and Aimaq (not saying those are who they’ll be but they are two of the top transfers) and assume Umude comes back it jumps Arkansas from 24 to 10.

Umude can’t come back. Him, Wade and Lykes are done.
Toney is the only one with eligibility left.
Once we add Black and two high level transfers we will easily be top 8 preseason next year probably top 5

Very possible in people like Goodman’s polls but that doesn’t seem likely in the computers. This year’s Arkansas team finished around 20th in most metrics (18th in KP, 21st in BT and 21st in BPI) and lose an extremely high volume of their offense in Notae. Outside of Smith the other freshmen aren’t going to bump you up much unless Black gets a big ratings boost after this week. Once you get outside of the top 10 the expected impact from freshmen in these formulas falls off a steep cliff based on past results.
Two truly elite transfers likely moves them to around 10 which would be pretty impressive after finishing 20th last year and losing such a huge part of that team in Notae.
I’m not saying I don’t think Arkansas will be one of the 5-8 best teams just that when KenPom and all the ratings sites go live next November it’s hard to find a path where they’ll be in the top 5.

My expectations depend on whether Oscar and Sharpe come back. If they do, I’ll take us over anyone.

I tried just dropping Connor Vanover and it lowered Arkansas from 24 to 34. It has a strangely high opinion of certain players. It’s fun to use the “add ANYBODY” field and just make up fantasy teams to see how well it scores your roster.

So a player that logged about 60 minutes the entire season and isn't expected to do any better IF he stays is the difference between a 6 seed and a 9 seed? List is shite.
