Don’t know his current status (although I believe I heard he was back before the end of last season). Here’s the discussion when it first happened. Rumor was he was dealing with an adderall addiction.

I wonder was he working and coaching at Bama while high af? Maybe Saban told him he needed to gtfo.

No offense, and that’s a terrible thing, but Scott dealing with some sort of addiction would be one of the least surprising things ever, given his whole vibe.
It’s one of those things where people say, “Haha, this guy’s crazy, he’s gotta be on drugs to be that hyper all the time, lololol!!” But they don’t really think that, just that he’s more intense than most people. And then it turns out that he’s on drugs and it all clicks into place.
Whatever it is, I really wish him well. He gave a lot Saban and the Alabama program.

It would also explain why he was putting his name in for head coaching jobs.

Adderall could also mean he was dealing with ADHD, which woudld really explain his energy.

Of course with the coaching transactions, I imagine that Coach C is back with ST and cheering again...

I always read this as more of a loophole to get Cochran off the field

If somebody like ESPN were to do some digging, I think they would find there are quite a few coaches in college football addicted to stimulants.
