I know a lot of you don't care, but I'm a fan of the guy.

He's gotta be on the hot seat at this point, but looking at his recruiting and game results it's much of the same stuff that we saw here.... Lazy recruiting and losing on the road.

I looked at who he's offered this year and it's one five star and like five four stars.

He might be working his off on those 3 and 4 star guys but one of the most immediate things I noticed when Muss took over was that he was offering all of the top recruits and then pressing hard to get them on campus. We never saw that with Mike.

He stabilized the program, but it's obvious that we were never going to get any better.

Still crazy what happened to Georgetown, sitting at 0-15.

They fired John Thompson's kid... And they're probably going to have to fire their best player in school history.

Where the hell does Georgetown go after that??

Is Patrick Ewing the coach? Really thought he would do well

Don’t miss the up and down shite with Mike at all.

It’s unreal watching these Muss teams and knowing we always have a run in us. Mikes teams would either blow someone out or you knew it was over at the 10 minute first half mark 90% of the time.

Didn't he refer to St. John's as St. Joseph's at his opening press conference?

I think modern day coaching is all about personality to get your the best players to commit, I never saw Ewing as personable.

They should hire Iverson. Recruiting pitch would be fewer practices

Iverson would be solid gold as a coach.

I would say it almost never works.

Skipped over that keyword: almost

I’d say there are 3 Frost to every Spurrier though..

Out of curiosity I read an article about that Creighton game. Apparently St John's top 2 scorers that game came off the bench and neither of them played the final 8 minutes of the game.

Not trying to pile on but I don't miss that kind of shite at all.

Likely untrue what you read... Champagnie is their top scorer, second in the Big East I believe and he played 34 min that game.

Yesterday they just lost to a very shitty DePaul team that is now 5-13 in conference.

Mike has to look at what Muss is doing and wonder what he's doing wrong I'd imagine.

Look at the box score. He only had 8 points.

My bad, you weren't referring to their top scorer for the season... I missed that. I agree completely now. Have a guy get hot and take him out because of set rotations.
