That seems like a breakdown on part of the coaching staff.

I am certain one of the 3 is a tight end.

Starters at Alabama can pout and get arrested with stolen guns with no penalty.

Backups are a different story.

If he saw this all year, why didn’t he do something about it at practice. In addition, why not get them involved during the season so, when they were needed in the national title game, they had some meaningful game experience to fall back on?

Seems like Saban is blaming his players for the failure of the coaching staff to properly motivate and prepare his players in practice and regular season games.

Not his best speech. He was trying to make points but fell short in the final delivery. I think it is safe to say if you are an Alabama fan, you see his words one way, but if you are not a fan, you see the speech in a different light.

Really, going to call out Ruggs buddies for not being leaders and basically blaming them for this kid losing a career and another person losing their life?

I mean, he’s right.

The difference in Georgia and Alabama in the NCG is Georgia’s “bench guys” that were pressed into duty played far better than Alabama’s. AD Mitchell and Ladd McConkey were never expected to be first-year contributors. They had to be because of the injury situations with Pickens and Blaylock.

When Adam Anderson got arrested, Robert Beal came in and ended up leading the team in sacks. Hell, we got quality snaps all year from Dan fricking Jackson in the secondary because of Tykee Smith being out.

When Bama went to their bench, their guys did not perform to that same level and it’s not because they weren’t talented.

At this point the best CFB coach of all-time is a given. He's now in the argument of greatest coach of all time with Wooden, Belichik and Lombardi.
He keeps proving himself a great leader. He's the only national celebrity coach in CFB, even non fans know him which is why hes on national commercials.

It's why when he speaks, everyone listens and his Media Days press conference has become a State of the Union for CFB as he's the only one asked about broad national issues and why his opinion carries weight.

CFB is lucky to have him.

Billingsley is one. My guess Hall is the other. No idea who the third is.
