Alabama is ranked between #18 and 25 in basically every metric, both "how good are you" and "what is your resume" in college basketball
I know you'd prefer they use the Iron Puppets Top 25, but unfortunately the committee generally sticks to the classics.
What do writers in BB think ?

If they win the home games and pull out wins against the mediocre teams left I can see them as a 6 seed. I just don't see it happening based on how they've performed so far.
Gun to my head I'd go
vs Kentucky (L)
@ Ole Miss (L)
vs Arkansas (W)
vs State (W)
@ Kentucky (L)
@ Vanderbilt (W)
vs South Carolina (W)
vs Texas A&M (W)
@ LSU (L)
19-12 (9-9)
I think in that situation we probably enter the SECT sitting at around a 7 seed.
I'd also absolutely end up dead because there is no way we do anything according to "chalk".

What seed would that get them in the SECT?

Well, they were all football fans up until this year. There is a learning curve, guys. Give them a little slack. Especially the SLOW ones, like Irons Puppet and tyler8675309.

It’s the road games that are questionable for Alabama.
Actually we've got Vandy, Ole Miss, LSU and Kentucky on the road, and that should be good for 2-2 at least.

I see them losing both games to UK, losing at LSU and possibly at home to Arkansas.
You probably saw us losing to Baylor, Gonzaga and Houston as well. How'd that work out for ya?

Damn sure not with this team.

Not sure, won't really matter

About as those victories you predicted for Missouri and UGA. The wings would have fallen off if UT could have followed Covid protocol.

Just one game that you projected as a loss.

I don't predict Alabama basketball. I'm smarter than you!

I was following the thread topic regarding the NCAA tourney. I agree that their road games can ALL be called questionable after Georgia, but I remember Mizzou taking y'all to the mountaintop, too!
Bottom line is Alabama is going dancing and I'd just as soon be a lower seed than expected as a higher one. They play better against teams whose talent/record they respect.
