This little fellow doesn’t quit trying to find answers to problems in his lineup and that’s one of the best things I’ve seen from him as "opposed to previous coaches.
Why keep throwing the same thing out there hoping that it works when the answer may be right at hand with switching things up and not being married to one mind think.
I’m glad to have a “basketball coach” who can coach the game and make adjustments and not settle.
This group may not set the world on fire, but they are improving which is a trend I’ve seen since he’s been here.
We have a fine coach now and I like it.

We need to get more butts in those seats though, and truly turn BWA back into hell consistently for opposing teams. BWA is due for some major renovations though.

It's so much fun going into a game knowing we probably have the better coach
Also, #2 recruiting class next year. We found the right coach

I feel like those are coming this off season. It was not long ago that they sent out a questionnaire to some of us asking opinions on things.
It really wouldnt take much either...Update the flooring and appearance on the face of the concourse...Banners...Freaking make all the banners match and go the route of other historical programs and have a banner each for National Titles, National Runner Up, Final Fours, Elite Eights, etc...Then just list the years on that same banner.
It has bothered me forever that our banners do not match. The look has improved since they took all of them down with the red ribbon that used to go across the ceiling.

I'm feeling another epic run coming on this season. Buckle up.

Two McDonald all Americans coming in, when we’ve even had one it was a huge boost starting with Ron Huery.
If Williams comes back, look out….

There were people legit saying 3 weeks ago he may need to be fired. frickin unreal.
In saying that I still think KK should at least be getting minutes for his 3 point shooting alone. On the other hand, JWill is starting to look eerily similar to Kentucky-era Anthony Davis.

I heard recently on a podcast that we have 2+ McDonalds All American coming next year, and the last time we had that was Todd Day and Lee Mayberry. Hopefully he can coach them to success.

How unlike Arkansas media to get things wrong.

Holy smoke, Muss is an outstanding basketball coach. I remember Rotnei Clark running a circle marathon all .game, or no answer to a half court defense or even a Heath team who couldn’t get to half court when pressed.
In our worst games this team was growing, now let’s see where they take it from here.

I've never seen someone hate losing like Eric musselman hates losing. It's an intense hatred.

Muss is a great coach and we're lucky to have him. I truly believe that and I'm not sure that I'd trade him for anyone.
Having said that, I think he screwed up in the off-season and has just recently gotten back on track. OP is right about him constantly tinkering with the lineup and it's to his credit that he's fixed his mistakes.
My only point here is to say that he's not perfect, but I'm not sure that I've ever seen a perfect head coach before. This time agitates me a little, because I've known he was making a mistake all along, but Muss still knows far more about basketball than I'll ever know.

Literally no one.
It’s just typical strawman message board peacocking.

I think when Muss assembled the pieces for this season, some of them didn't fit the way he anticipated. He had to take the pieces he had and make a workable team. To his credit, he did that, and I'm confident he will reflect on where his evaluations went wrong and improve. He is relentless, I love having him as our coach.

I never saw anything like that on this board, just posters starting to question him as a long term hire.
I did see some crazy folks on twitter pushing for his fire, one guy I saw make an argument that Mike would have been undefeated with the schedule.
The problem I see most is people try to push each other in the polar opposite directions when things are not going well. If you critize Muss for something, "You are just a hater that likes to see us lose". If you defend Muss on something "You are just a sunshine pumper". It is also more complicated than that but everyone vents in different ways when we struggle.

This.
One of the first games he coached here we were up at least 25 or 30 and he was still coaching his arse off. Looked like he was gonna strangle a player or ref on every play that didn't go our way.
That's when I knew I could finally sit back and enjoy the games. We finally had someone who hated losing even more than I do.

all of this is true and then some. But, I was surprised yesterday when he took the foot off of the gas, so to speak. Slowed the tempo down and let it get back to a 5 pt ball game. Now, the game was never in doubt, but was this because of foul troubles, playing a few more guys???
I was halfway watching because of work I was doing as well. But we were up by over 20 right? I know basketball is a game of momentum and shifts, but it seems to happen often.
Dude is an incredible coach, Wouldn't trade for pearl, pear, or cal even myself!

Oh he definitely slows the pace down when he's in control if he doesn't think you can push it. No reason to do anything stupid or give up extra possessions.
