South Carolina university admissions counselor says Republican applicants are part of an 'oppressive group
A Clemson University admissions counselor has been reassigned from her role after calling Republican applicants part of an "oppressive group" in a Snapchat story.
Campus Reform reported that Clemson University admissions counselor Monica Rozman made the post and wrote that "no one cares if you're Republican."
"Reviewing college apps and , just wanna say: no one cares if you're Republican. Like, small government, low taxes, etc., republican. BUT BUT But, if you're gonna talk about being Republican (1) don't act like it's an oppressed group bc it's not," Rozman wrote in the Snapchat story.

She was wrong about white supremacy and misogyny in the party. She assigned those attributes to the party, then demanded that applicants denounce them as if what she said were actually true.

I don't really understand this. The headline says she called Republican applicants part of an oppressive group. But then the quote attributed to her says Republicans should not "act like an oppressed group bc it's not." Doesn't appear like the headline and the quote are on the same page.

Considering who the driving political force* was that allowed Clemson to be established, and his long-standing history of white supremacy, Ms. Rozman has no room to talk about the supposed "white supremacy" of potential students. As a matter of fact, this politician still has a building named after him at that school, though there have been efforts recently to change that.

No it's not. But $20 says you're some white brainwashed lefty with a savior complex, and would love to whitespain to me how I'm "oppressed". And how, being a Republican, I am voting against my interests. If I gave you the time of day, that is. Which I don't intend to do.
