I've always thought it's interesting how much Tiger fans like to talk amongst themselves about how little they care about us. Lots of chatting about a state and team they never think about.

Lousiana has a bad inferiority complex. Some states are worse than others but they brag a lot to compensate. They make fun of the hogs and the state of Arkansas but they lost approximately 27,000 residents from the state last year. They will talk how great LSU sports is and how inferior yours is but on the otherside of month, speaks of how terrible Lousiana is and can't wait to leave.
I met a lousiana couple in Jasper, Arkansas who has lived in the area for 20 years and told me that they couldn't wait to get out of Louisiana. By the way they own a restaurant/motel on the cliff of a mountain and the food is really good.

They don't understand we hate nearly everyone.
LSU, OM, A&M, Texas, Missouri, Florida, Auburn fans all think they are special because we hate them

Exactly, the whole “our game is their super bowl” is used by many teams we play every year. It’s just a coping mechanism to help them feel better about the loss.

Pretty sure this brings the total teams that are our Super Bowl to 10.

LSU is similar to OM to us in that we have a half assed regional rivalry only because we have played each other a lot. They aren't really rivals in the true sense, we just have history with them.
Texas was the closest thing to an actual rival we ever had and always will be. I'll be happy to put these pretend rivalries aside when they move into the conference and we go to pod scheduling.
A TX/OK/AR/MZ pod just has a lot more to offer us and feels like a much more natural place for us than the awkward SEC west. Still have the pretend MZ rivalry there but it could actually develop more with that set up and I don't think we will have any problem hating OK.

Oklahoma will become a very very big rival to us when they enter.
They're program will slide a bit snd ours seems to be on the rise, so you could get some really good games if we ever start recruting regularly in the top 10-15 or so.
OU fans are also very arrogant. Not UT level, but still quite snooty.
The thing about that pod is, eveyone most likely will hate each other, which is a good thing.

Oklahoma will be a big game because of the close proximity to the fans and recruiting. I honestly don't believe it benefits them by joining the SEC. But like it was in 92 with Arkansas, they aren't joining because they want but need to as for conference stability.

yeah, I definitely think our "attention" will move West when they officially join and we're presumably all in a pod together

Absolutely. They will fall off some and we are on the rise. I think we have a pretty big opportunity in front of us with the changes coming up. With Texas down and OK struggling when they come in we can make some real headway in recruiting and getting at a minimum some division titles.

Unless the culture in Austin grows some tough skin then they will struggle to become just a bowl team each year in the SEC. They were talented and tough under the Royal years and just a little with Mack Brown but they are too prideful to do what needs to be done right now.
Oklahoma doesn't share that level of arrogance or lack of work ethic. But the CFP just shows how soft they become. They struggle some but not on the level of struggle that Texas will endure.

The success they have had in a depleted B12 has gone to their heads. I watched several of their games this year and they were just awful but still managed a good record because of such a weak schedule. Riley couldn't have screwed them at a better time.

I grew up in southwest Arkansas and was born in the 90s never experiencing the southwest conference days. I’m not gonna lie I hate lsu with a passion and it makes me giddy every time we beat those coonasses

I want to believe this, but with the money and NIL deals it’s hard to think that Texas won’t be recruiting at a Top10 level once they are in the SEC. And I don’t care who you are, if you have that many players you’re going to be decent at worst.

Texas had supposedly recruited at a top 10 level for decades and has one NC to show for it since the Royal years. They supposedly had top 15 talent before heading to Fayetteville and Arkansas supposedly had inferior talent. But they got whipped by a better coached and talented team which I saw in person. That Arkansas team lost four games and that same Texas team lost to a terrible Kansas team. The excuses could be made that it is only coaching that kept Texas from being good. That is only half the problem. They simply don't have the talent to compete in the SEC. Coaching and talent go hand to hand and if you don't have both then you are on the losing side.
NIL isn't going to help them very much as the university is synonymous with the state of Texas and the state is just one big brand. So they have nothing to gain from NIL as they are an NIL brand. They have reached a ceiling as far as money, brand and supposedly great recruiting classes can take them. The only thing needed is a culture change at the administration level which leads to better coaching hires that in turn leads to better players and more wins on the field.
Sark was not only a terrible hire but a lazy hire like Arkansas did with Morris. It is either they are highly incompetent in Austin or just don't care. But either way unless they go through a culture change like Arkansas did with Sam then they won't compete in the SEC, they can throw Aggie money like a drunk monkey and still not get anywhere. Football is a tough sport and if you don't have the toughness at the administrative level then the softness will trickle down to the field. They are bloated and fat and have no desire to be hungry for success. Arkansas in contrast for the first time in decades is striving for success.

Did you watch Texas last year? They were awful, especially after we broke them. There are lots of teams that have loads of talent and suck. Penn St., UNC, Texas, FL St. Texas will dominate when they get a great coach but their boosters meddle too much for great coaches to want to go there. NIL may change that and there is still a chance that Sark may be that guy but I don't think he is. Also Texas has recruited at a top 10 level for most of their existence.

They just had a topic on the tiger rant about the Peyton Pallette injury. They are saying they don't like injuries but you see how fake the concerns are and they claim it doesn't benefit them. But they couldn't hide the lie any worse than they could. Of course the coonasses think it is a huge break for them and everyone else and then they try to portray themselves as a beacon of morality by showing sympathy that isn't genuine.

They've been gutted by injuries the last couple years and are happy when others have key injuries. They're scum

If Texas had top talent then they wouldn't go 5-7 in the weak Big 12 regardless of the coaching. They are terrible and the media has always propped them up because they are Texas and the name sells.

This is just wrong. Less talented teams win all the time. Give me a motivated 3 star all day over a 5 star that doesn't give a shite and I'll get the win. There is tons of talent on their roster. It just hasn't been developed and they aren't motivated. Which is all coaching.
