Based on what I believe.
Several names not on here that could be in time if they never win it. But for now, this is a decent start at it. Let the debate begin!

Frank Broyles has a national title from a selector that was as legitimate as any of those at the time it was given

Flip Richt and Snyder and put Dodd in front of both. But that’s a solid list.

I thought Coach Vaught and Coach Broyles had NC in the early 60’s?

Frank Beamer turned VT into a power house. Think about that. Him and Bill Snyder are magicians

List is flawed. You forgot that Brian Kelly won the 247Sports Transfer Portal National Championship this year.

same for Bobby Dodd in 1952; their championship from 1952 is far more legit than at least 3 that Alabama claims...
if you don't want to count that year, Dodd should be much higher on the list; especially after winning 31 straight from 1951-1953
and I say this as a Georgia alum...

Brian Kelly won national championships in 2002 and 2003 at Grand Valley State.

Dodd and Broyles, if you are going to incorrectly put them on this list, being below Kelly is laughably ridiculous

Most or all of what you say may be true but...screw Georgia Tech and their smug handful of fans. Don't give them a thing. You can't believe how many of them believe their football program is superior to ours based on championships won when helmets were made of leather. Again...screw 'em.

They do but like all titles of that time period where as mythical as any program can claim it. This is what led to the BCS and the playoff as it tries to take the human bias out of the equation. If Arkansas wants to claim more titles then the 65 and 77 years would be ideal. But they have refused. The 64 title can be claimed by any other school if they went unbeaten but that is a problem when one loss or unbeaten schools try to claim a year all at once.
This is why a playoff should have been done decades ago when it still had a lot of parity but now it is as stagnant as ever.

Don't disagree but he also had two outstanding coordinators in Broyles and Ray Graves (future UF HC) Never had the same success after he lost both those guys.

Michigan and Pitt fans do for sure. I'd imagine GT fans are similar

The best coach on that list is Bill Snyder but he gets a total pass because what he did at KSU is almost more impressive than National championships. Bo Schembechler on the other hand…

absolutely agree with this

bullshite; he absolutely belongs on this list; he resurrected a stagnant UGA program and put the Dawgs back on the map at a time when the SEC was establishing itself as the premier league
