LSU supposedly IS in a bidding war for Caleb Williams.

Caleb Williams changes everything
He's 100% going to USC but LSU is immediately a contender with Caleb.
Will Anderson is the best player returning in the country to me by far but I think the next 3 best players are Bryce Young, CJ stroud and Caleb Williams
LSU would immediately be favored over every one of their opponents except Bama.
Maybe A&M but we just kicked their arse with our JV team and 2nd string QB
Also it's a pay article but it says it's USC, LSU, Oklahoma and Georgia as the finalist.
I don't see how USC gives Lincoln that contract and loses a bidding war for Caleb especially with Jaxson Dart transferring unless they already have too much $$$ and faith tied up in the Malachi Nelson kid.

I don’t know any LSU fan that actually believes we’re in it for Williams. To me this is smoke from his side to drive his NIL price up. He is and always has been USC bound.

You contradict yourself saying that it is a bidding war but he's going to USC no matter what.
I think if Georgia or LSU throw out 20% more than USC then he goes to them.
FWIW- I think he goes to USC and they win the bidding war

Williams' camp is getting USC to bid against itself. Using LSU's name as leverage. I haven't heard any confirmed source that LSU is even recruiting him.

Usually when I see something from only 1 source, I don't give it cred. Unless he puts it out on social or in an interview, I don't believe LSU is in it.

I’m not contradicting anything. He’s setting his own market and driving up his own price. USC will ultimately meet his number and he’ll sign there.
