My pick is 2019 LSU. I’ve never seen a QB so money on just about every throw. He could throw dimes in the most narrowest places. That offense was an incredible machine and they had a damn good experienced athletic defense to back it up. I remember the prior year when most of their talent decided to forgo the draft and come back one more year. 4 and 5 star seniors are just lethal, and it paid off huge.

2019 LSU probably. We’ll look back in a decade and be mind blown by the top notch NFL careers of those players on that team.

2020 Alabama, best offense in CFP era (probably of all time).

Texas A&M 1939

My dad and I pulled up to the stadium in our horse and carriage and it was a hoot!

Sadly he died of dysentery as we crossed the Oregon Trail.

RIP Duck Tales SR!

Homer pic is 2019 LSU. That team put up video game numbers against a damn strong schedule. I know offenses have evolved, bit LSU went beyond that.

Non-homer pick.........2019 LSU is still hard to ignore, but maybe 2001 Miami.

Saw this from Bengalswire. Pretty impressive stat on Burrow:

Joe Burrow has played 6 “have to have it games” in his career.

2019 LSU
Bama
Georgia (SEC title)
Oklahoma (semi)
Clemson (natty)

2021 BENGALS
Ravens (Week 16)
Chiefs (Week 17)

In those games:

6-0 W-L
2,669 Pass Yds (444/game)
27 TD
0 Int

1995 Nebraska. They trailed once all season (never trailed in the second half) and they boat-raced a great Florida team in the championship game that had dominated the SEC. Of the 12 games on their schedule, only one was a non-Power 5 team; they won every game by 14+ points. They stomped four teams that finished in the AP top 9 by 23, 24, 38, and 38 points. And on a side note, they whupped a Nick Saban coached Michigan State team (in his first year) by 40…

Lol if anyone thinks Cam Newton was losing to anyone in college. Rest of the team doesn't stack up but don't matter when you have the true GOAT.

That's nuts, but wouldn't 2018 Alabama also have been a "have to have it" game? LSU was 7-1, ranked #3 and would win the West if they won. Was basically the same scenario as Alabama 2019.

You could definitely argue that. Like I said it was from Bengalwire, so they may have pick and chose just a little bit for maximum effect.
