Looks like a popular message board (TexAgs) is now collecting money through a monthly subscription for NIL purposes.

quote:

The Stacked subscription delivers content created in partnership with current student athletes. Stacked gives you increased access to these elite athletes that proudly wear the maroon & white while allowing them to be compensated for their name, image and likeness (NIL).

Stacked is an add-on subscription that is combined with a TexAgs Basic, Premium or Varsity subscription on a monthly or annual basis. A minimum of 75% of the proceeds from Stacked subscriptions go to compensating participating student athletes for their NIL and role in creating the content.

Stacked is offered in three different levels: Stacked-10, Stacked-25, and Stacked-100.

I hope they’re planning on paying those A&M players a lot of money if it means they have to interact with TexAgs users.

I actually don’t think it will bring in that much money, but should bring the student athletes nice checks for interviews.

Where do you think TD premium membership fees have been going?

Sorry you're behind the times...

I dont know the answer but I can tell you this.

Texags has a full staff and a brick and mortar building for their headquarters in College Station, just across the south endzone of Kyle Field. They do texags tailgates and everything in between

Their headquarters is nice! I've assumed all these years that they're killing it one way or another.

Not sure about that. A lot of posters have already signed up and it was launched today.

Kind of surprising how many Premium posters have already upgraded to stacked in less than a day. And the number of 25 and 100 per month as opposed to the lowest tier (10) is shocking

For a website, they’ve got a nice little setup.

Spending money to lose is going to be "really interesting . . . ." No doubt about it.
