I thought that initially as well then I rewinded it just to be sure. I think the weight of the blame for losing is too much for him.
Eventhouh the defense gave up 41pt, over 500 yards, and got 0 sacks he still took 90% of the blame.
1980 is a lot to bear. This will be the best and possible last shot for UGA for awhile.

I saw UGA fans say he'll never beat Alabama after the SEC championship, now for some reason they believe he'll beat Alabama

He is the only thing that gives me hope Bama can win. If you UGA plays a clean game they will win. I don't think Stetson is capable of delivering that though. He is awful under pressure.
The 1st game was an elimination game for Bama and UGA was relaxed playing with house money.
Now the pressure is on and I think Stetson will crack under the immense pressure of 1980.
