Unless Saban cuts him loose... I know he's big on Golding

And in no rush to be a head coach. He’s done a solid job.

But LSU fans sure did talk him up when they thought he was in play.

I would think that the majority of LSU fans are relieved it’s not Pete. Outside of the SEC championship y’all’s defense hasn’t been stellar

Again if you measure the pulse of the LSU fanbase by this board then you are a fool. Is this board indicative of Bamas fanbase? I sure hope not lol

I’m sure he was approached with multiple offers. This happens every year with Saban’s assistants.

I think he’s a good DC…catches a lot of unwarranted shite from bama fans. He can’t help the players have become soft.

Golding is such a love/hate among my Bama brethren.

His blitz packages and 3rd down defense has been skeptical during his tenure.

I personally think if he simplifies the playbook for the players the results show he’s plenty capable.

Simplify? Not tackling, covering grass, players with potential regressing, not putting the best players on the field. He is capable of making good players bad. He is awful.

Their opinion of Golding changed REAL QUICK when there was a possibility of LSU hiring him. It was hilarious to see.

I think he's good and a helluva recruiter. It's not easy to land consistent coaches who can recruit and swat away other job offers. Titles are won on that type of stability...
