And the transfer rules then they need to allow the teams to have 100 scholarship players or more. As a fan, why would you buy a ticket to any bowl game that is not a championship level game with the risk of teams just not showing up physically or mentally.

That’s not a bad point. Maybe they need to construct the contracts as a minimum amount up front and the bulk at the end of the season and completing the season be a determinate of whether they get all the money.
I personally think you should get zero strikes too or the contract is null and void. Dwi, etc - sorry.
It seems like we’re both still coddling them and also treating them as adults right now with the nil. I don’t think it needs to be both of those.

The answer is easy, stop having so many useless bowl games. Do you really wanna see a couple of 6-6 teams battle it out? Or a 6-6 power 5 team playing a 9-10 win alcorn st type team. The players opting out shows you how much they really value the bowl games.

You do know this is all a conspiracy to cause you untold mental anguish, right? Yes, you are just that important.

In the past when teams played 11 regular season games, most teams needed to win 9 games or more just to go to a bowl that was worth a damn. However when more bowls were added that further diluted the traditional bowls. Bowls were originally suppose to be a reward for a good year, now it is full of 6-6 G5 teams no one cares a bout and 5-7 teams that aren't even bowl eligible.

Idk these bowls seem pretty important. Especially the gator bowl. When aggy didn’t play the rant went into a category 5 shite storm.

We should handle Omicron differently. It's so contiguous everyone, even the triple vaccinated, are going to get it. But, none of these athletes are in danger of hospitalization let alone dying from it. And most are going to be asymptomatic. So, leave alone. It will help us get to herd immunity quicker. No need to even test.

NCAA has nothing to do with the post season and fought the modern transfer rules tooth and nail.

So far this is the crap show bowl season America has been subjected to:
Middle Tennessee 31, Toledo 24
Coastal Carolina 47, Northern Illinois 41
WKU 59, Appalachian State 38
SC State 31, Jackson State 10
Fresno State 31, UTEP 24
UAB 31, 13 BYU 28
Liberty 56, Eastern Michigan 20
Utah State 24, Oregon State 13 (Hey look everybody, a power 5 team, finally)
23 Louisiana 36, Marshall 21
Tulsa 30, Old Dominion 17
Wyoming 52, Kent State 38
24 San Diego State 38, UTSA 24
Army 24, Missouri 22
Miami (Ohio) 27, North Texas 14
UCF 29, Florida 17
Truthfully, what noble football fan is watching this spectacular midtier crap show during the regular season? But somehow ESPN wraps it in toilet paper and puts a "bowl" on top and we talk endlessly about absolutely nothing. And I mean NOTHING!
Wait, boys and girls, if this is not cruel and inhumane enough are midtier extravaganzas aren't near over. This Saturday:
Georgia State vs. Ball State, then Monday we got:
Western Michigan vs. Nevada, followed by, hold on fans:
Boston College vs. East Carolina
Someone, please just flush.

Make a 16 team playoff incorporated into the top bowl sites and kill off the all the other bowls. Meaningless bowl games suck and know ones cares about them.

Bowl games are simply for TV content and gambling. It ain’t for most football fans, in general.
