Do we want or need him? Would he even come to Bama?

I don’t think he’s a take given our room next year and what he brings to the table, and I also don’t think we’re an option with our crowded room. Alabama and Tank don’t compliment each other for a one-off before declaring for the draft. I actually think he’s UGA bound

Gibbs on the other hand fits us way more with his all-around ability and we can probably swing him outside to run routes. Way more flexibility

That would be Griffith transferring to Auburn after 2013

Dude made a royal frick up that will be remembered for years, especially if Alabama wins the natty. But I mean, it certainly wouldn’t hurt.

Given who they are losing at the RB position this makes a lot of sense.

I don't think we need him based on guys returning and the couple we are bringing in. Of course you can never predict injuries but if we ended up with another rash of RB injuries like this year he'd be nice to have, no doubt.

Tank would be the best RB the day he transferred to Bama. Bama has no proven RB coming back next year. A lot of talent, but none with the talent and experience that Tank would bring.

In fairness to Tank he was doing what 99% of backs would have done, trying to get the 1st down b/c if he gets that first down the game is over.

More like Jordan Battle made an awesome play to drag him out of bounds.

You're not wrong on the experience part but I'm just saying I don't think we need him based on the guys we have and will have on roster.

This is just not true. Tank is good not great. He has struggled against the best defenses. He struggled both seasons against Bama and UGA and this year he struggled against Miss St. Tank isn’t explosive at all.

Tank was played injured against Bama in 2020, surprised he played the snaps he did.

Have you seen the struggles of Bama's RB this year? Even when they were all healthy.

You might saw it was Bama's OL that was the cause of the RB play, but Bama's OL is better then Auburn's. So the same can be said for Tank.

Tank is a proven RB, something 2022 Alabama does not have at this point.

Not really. Every RB on Bama's roster with any significant number of carries ran fairly well. 4.3 YPC for Trey Sanders was the worst. Robinson and McClellan were at 4.8. Williams was at 5.9.

And I don't think the OL was all that strong this year.

Ya'll also forgetting about Gibbs.

I'd take an Eli Ricks though.

More Battle than him. He used Tanks momentum to put him in a seat and drag him. Tank was basically helpless.

If Tank is better than any of these guys(I don’t think he is) it’s by a minuscule margin. There is no reason to have team chemistry messed up by bringing in a guy who’s not better than any of them. Not to mention we have the transfer from GT coming in plus Wheaton already on campus and Henderson committed. We don’t need tank.

Saw on the LSU board that Boutte will be taking a wait and see approach through the spring. Likely that Kelly has until the spring to get him a QB otherwise he might head to the portal.

Do you think that his Oline had anything to do with that? The only thing I see that would keep us from going after him would be his locker room presence (is he a "team" guy?).
The guy's a load, and he gets a ton of yards after contact!
