Why is everyone convinced Current Bama won’t revert to season ending Bama?

I think Bama who went into 4 OT against a one legged TJ Finley led Auburn is who we going forward. . I think Bama was just in Georgia’s head the same way that Ohio State used to be in Michigan’s head. Cinncinatti is a formidable opponent. Can we agree that both LSU and Auburn realistically could have won against Bama. Furthermore Texas AnM was a decent team with a back quarterback and they beat Bama. I think it’s lazy to say Cincinnati doesn’t stand a chance.

They don’t have running game. And they are down a starting receiver. That would gender them against a good team let alone an undefeated well rounded team

Because the "what have you done for me lately" rule is in full swing. We just dusted the "best defense ever" like it was just another Saturday. Some people believe that our team finally "gets it" now with each other and are clicking... and it just took the road we've been on to get there.

No assurance at all. Alabama happened to match up very well with Georgia, but is not a dominant team...
... that said ... Alabama won all those stupidly close games except A&M which was partly due to some pretty monumental self-destructive plays. Winning counts.

I don’t think anyone in convinced of anything — but I don’t see them reverting. They dismantled UGA when they were decided underdogs.

Hate Bama but no team in the playoffs has a Bryce young...

We could play this same game with Cincy. They have struggle wins against 2-10 Tulane, 2-10 Indiana, 3-8 Navy, and 6-6 Tulsa. In fact, every ranked team not named Georgia has had 3 or 4 WTF performances. But I think Average Bama beats Good Cincinnati

I have worried about this but the more I think about it the more I think it won't happen. This year's Bama team seems to have finally found it's mojo and they have 15 practices before the playoff.

How does Cincy's OL and DL match up with Alabama's? I think that's most of what we need to know. (edit: and we know)

It's pretty obvious that Bama overlooked A&M, LSU and Auburn.

Both B Rob and some guys on the Oline were banged up coming down the home stretch the last month or so of the season. Bama has had to play with a reshuffled line at several times all year but getting some of those guys healthier will play a huge difference in the run game. Plus having more practice time will help out the O line more in case someone couldn’t go for some reason. Also I don’t know this for sure but I think I heard that Cincy runs a 3-3-5 defense. If they do and Bama has a healthier B Rob and Oline then look out. They pounded OM earlier this year running that style of defense. Bama should have a size advantage on the O line too. Unless something happens in practice and Bama picks up another key injury to someone on the line or to B Rob then Bama should be able to pound the ball way better than they did the latter half of the season.

How many times do you dumb fricks have to be told that the only thing that slowed down our offense was crowd noise. We are phenomenal at home and at neutral sites.
