I'm sure he played his 15-20 snaps like he usually does

Nope,

In fact none of our starters did. Kirby thought we could beat you with our 2nd string.

No he skipped the game and traveled to NYC, eating at the buffet while waiting on the Heisman.

He made a couple really good plays in run defense, but Bama had a really smart game plan. Hurry up offense keeping him on the field.

He’s a 2 down player right now, so if you’re keeping him on the field for 6 straight plays, he’s going to be exhausted.

In some cases, like with the QB position, he went with 4th string.

If he needs a break every 3 plays why is he considered elite

Because he completely stuffs the run defense. Makes a lot of teams get behind the chains because he takes in two blockers on most run plays, and when he doesn’t there is basically no chance to run up the middle on Georgia. That is a massive impact.

Thought the Heisman stuff was a little overblown because of how few snaps he has played (granted, we have killed most of the teams we played) but the impact he makes in the run game is worth a ton.

Fwiw, I said I would put Will Anderson over Jordan Davis on my hypothetical Heisman Ballot a couple weeks ago.

I would think it would be easier to play 4-5 plays rather than 2 plays and run 30 yards to the sideline. Not ragging him as he seems like a really great kid. I just know that I hated it back in the day whenever we would run the plays in every play.

He was on the sideline in the 2nd quarter throwing up waffle house.

Didn't you also say that about Stetson Bennett?

The hurry up offense is just a completely different animal. A lot of it has to do with personnel. Normally we’ve done a really good job of stopping teams on 1st and 2nd down, which means they change to a more dynamic passing personnel on 3rd down. Bama can pass in their traditional sets which allows them to hurry up even if they struggle on the 1st two downs (not that this happened very often on Saturday).

I'm not sure you can considering this "playing", but he was there in uniform at least.

Here's proof.
