The "so call experts" are just that ..so called.
Same way in basketball.. my ESPN bracket has been better than Jay Bilas for like 7 years in a row.

These guys know more about x's and o's than most of us but when it comes to picking games they aren't any better. I'm sure I know much more about Alabama than Herbstreit does because I spend more time watching them than he does.

Well yeah, it’s championship Saturday. On paper the most difficult day to pick winners.
With that said, I feel like the Gameday pickers job isn’t to be correct. It’s to sell you on the games.

A lot of these guys make contrary picks just for entertainment purposes. Would be pretty boring for a panel to all pick chalk, even though that's statistically the best play.

I used to like Herby but when he cried on live TV my opinion has changed. College gameday isn't what it used to be also. I used to wake up every Saturday for it but now I don't care.
