Didn’t their QB just say he was coming back next year?

Its okay we will get Quinn Ewers

Ole Miss would be a good spot for him. Hope it doesn't happen

Mizzou would be a good spot for him. Ole Miss can have Gabriel

wouldnt gabriel be a better fit at Mizzou? Dont we need a more mobile QB given our OL was bad at pass pro even with a bad QB

My completely uninformed and probably bad guess is we want Gabriel over Rattler as he’s more polished and doesn’t have multiple years of eligibility left.
If we’re pitching to Arch that he’s the man, having a perceived opening at qb his freshman year might help.
But I hope to god that’s not the angle. Lebby is familiar with Gabriel where no one on staff has had hands on experience with Rattler.

As long as it doesn’t cause us to lose focus on developing Horn, that’s great.

He and Lane would be a perfect match but I worry it will cause of douche bag black whole from which nothing can escape.

Sounds like you’re a little mixed up. Gabriel will have 3 years of eligibility left wherever he goes.
Gabriel is in Oxford now on a visit. He will go wherever Jeff Lebby goes. So if Lebby stays in Oxford, he will be in Oxford.

Rattler is likely a 1 year guy

I’d be going all in on Quinn Ewers if my team was looking for a quarterback. If Rattler couldn’t get it done in Riley’s big 12 QB friendly offense idk how he’d be able to get it done in the SEC.

He got it done plenty. Dude was preseason Heisman and #1 overall pick for a reason. That didn’t just pop out of thin air. It’s because of what he did in 2020
He really didn’t play poorly in 21, outside of one half of football and OU had another five star breathing down his neck. Check out the stats of Williams and Rattler. They are very similar.
Dude has an absolutely elite right arm. There really isn’t a QB in the country with better arm talent. I’d bet wherever he ends up he will be hungry and focused, and probably a bit humbled.
