I think it was more of an indictment that defenses figured out Riley's offense. His need to go deep so much for the offense to function slowed them down to a screeching halt when defenses schemed that option away. Caleb Williams had a few successful games before he turned to shite as well.

I definitely think Rattler can have a highly successful year in the right offense.

I read an article last night that made it sound like South Carolina was the favorite.

There is a connection with Beamer.

I’d be going all in on Quinn Ewers if my team was looking for a quarterback. If Rattler couldn’t get it done in Riley’s big 12 QB friendly offense idk how he’d be able to get it done in the SEC.

Yea I agree. And Rattler’s reputation is not great.

CB today says Rattler to UCLA. That will be interesting in White chocolate Chip Kellys offense given hes a statue and not mobile at all.

It would be great to land a capable QB from the portal, but apparently Beamer wasn't a huge fan of Rattler's attitude at OU.

Who knows, though. Rattler would probably be a big upgrade over all other QBs we currently have and have a shot with.

I've heard he's done really well at OU and the coaches like him. Seems like if he was the primadonna everyone writes him out to be, he'd have quit the team when he lost his job rather than finish the season out as the back-up.

Just to circle back on this, sounds like Rattler is UCLA bound.
