Lotta smoke that other conferences will follow the MAC. Granted these are from woke, liberal writers for most part but the momentum isn’t good right now..I still hopeful the SEC will play even if Big 10 and PAC 12 cancel

Probably all fall sports outside of the P5 get cancelled. Maybe some mid-major basketball programs play, I dunno. But the P5 will play on, for financial reasons if nothing else. They will find a way. They HAVE to find a way or there's going to be some big financial pain for every athletic department in the NCAA. It might resemble JV football with the players with chances of going to the NFL sitting it out, but somebody's going to play. I'll be completely stunned otherwise.

NCAA coronavirus advisory panel: Football season, college sports 'will be nearly impossible to play'

Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic that caused spring football practices to be canceled in March, Amesh Adalja, M.D., senior scholar at the Johns Hopkins University Center for Health Security and part of the NCAA coronavirus advisory panel, has provided updates if the feasibility of a season could be played this fall.
In June, Adalja told Vols Wire that it would be “a challenge” for a college football season to be played this fall.
Following news regarding the MAC canceling its fall football season, Adalja discussed if Power Five conferences could still play beginning next month.
“With the virus being not fully controlled in many parts of the country, and testing having long turn around times, it will be nearly impossible to play many college sports according to best practices in the pandemic era,” Adalja told Vols Wire.

I've been saying this for over a month that once all the tuitions are paid (which Alabama's is due Aug. 10) then they'll announce online classes for the entire fall and there will be no fall sports.

Sadly, I doubt we have a football season. Let’s just pray we can have a basketball season at this point.
