I really hope the attention of the college football world is on Kentucky-Georgia this week

I don't want any distractions to the team via College GameDay, Big Noon Kickoff, or SEC Nation. Keep that crap in Athens where it belongs.

Not sure where that game (UGA-Kentucky) is being played but the Cats have a decent shot at beating UGA this year.

Seen this story before...I'm not going to get invested in that idea. More likely that UGA chokes them out for 4 quarters in the form of a 27-6 win.

Georgia going to spank Kentucky. Unless they do like Auburn did and run the option with the QB. Kentucky will find little success running with traditional plays like they did against Florida

Kentucky doesn’t do anything that stresses a Kirby Smart defense.
Kentucky (34th) is behind AU in FEI YTD (31st) and is 20th in net ppd (UGA is 6th).
With the game in Athens it’ll be within a couple scores because with the new clock rules there won’t be many possessions with both teams running the ball, but don’t expect UK to out Georgia on the road.

quote:No, Kentucky succeeds because they play tough, fundamental, run-first football, which contrasts with the basketball on grass approach a lot of teams have gone to. Georgia is built to do the same thing, and they have way better talent. This will be a 24-7 type of game.

Only team on Georgia’s schedule that might beat them is UT in Knoxville. I dont think UT is a great team but probably the only team that could catch lightning in a bottle with Huepel’s system and some decent playmakers on the outside trying to run 80 plays on offense and eventually break a few big ones.
I dont think UK (who might be better than UT) matches up with Goergia well at all and the game is in Athens.

I don't think the team is distracted by the media. And, I hope Kentucky wins.

This is not a playoff caliber UGA team. Thin at RB, young defense, and Kirby's secondaries at UGA have been more susceptible to the pass than the secondaries at Bama when he was DC at Bama. I think it will be a relatively low scoring game.

The last three games, I've watched Georgia closely.
They struggled on Offense. Auburn game had me looking at Georgia funny after that game and I'm thinking it shouldn't be that close game with Auburn, especially with issues they had at QB. They ran the heck out of the ball against Georgia. Georgia is a 1 or 2 loss team this year. Kentucky, Florida, Missouri, Ole Miss and Tennessee. Hard to figure out which losses...
BTW, a Georgia loss late in season hurt them more than it hurts early in the season.
