So much more fire this year... Better coverage... Better blitzes..seem more disciplined.
Seeing the multiple 3rd and Goldings from ole miss made me laugh....

4th and 23 and we let them convert.

This defense is REALLY good and they literally can’t get pressure on a QB.
That speaks volumes to how good it is and how good the coaching is compared to last year.
Imagine this defense with 55+ sacks like some years past. Teams would struggle to score and that’s not an overstatement.

Somewhat related. USF has 42 on Rice right now. They’ve scored on everyone but us. Now they’ve only played arse defenses but still

It is definitely improved, but those 4th and Steeles were hard to watch. Good second half regardless though

Flying to the football was such a joy to watch! The secondary is legit and multiple LBs lit it up the second half. The DL got after it in the second half as well.

Yeah no doubt, if he pulled the string on golden a year early and Steele comes in last year we probably are at least in the championship game.

I am actually ok with it when we are up by 2 TDs. It was a prevent defense and those can be dangerous but Kiffin was calling short stuff and burning clock.

That last blitz on 4th down was gutsy but a thing of beauty. Loved it. And it was great seeing their mouthy QB looking out of his earhole :) S/O to Terrion, great freakin game.

Got to hand it to dart though that pass on 4th and 23 was money. It wasn't like he was wide open

This secondary is really good. I'm frickin sick of seeing Chris Braswell getting tackled on every 3rd and long and not seeing a flag. Happened a lot today and against Texas.
