No trolling; genuinely curious. Seems like Dabo has lost his luster, and I can't see them offering Kiffin. Kirby would never leave his alma mater.
Dan Lanning?

Sweet baby Glenn of course

I can't see Alabama hiring a first time head coach under 35 like Schumann.
Not sure what Dan Lanning gains by going to Bama.

If I could get anyone, I'd pick Kyle Whittingham but he's not leaving Utah at his age. Elko is certainly one to watch

How's about the Coach Klein........or maybe Red Bolleaux.
Or.................wait for it...............Les Miles.

Hi lsutit and 99 if I was a allabama fan I would be e mailing mal more in the athaletic department too let him know he should consider hireing urban mayers he is a good coach he made some mistake’s but I think he is a god fearing man and deserve’s a second chance I am not a professionel coach hirer so I do not know if this is the right move I just think mayers coach’s the game the right way and graduate’s players and is classy

They will get someone good but you would have to be crazy to follow Saban.

Maybe because Oregon is new money and Alabama is the Rockefeller of college football. Also the SEC is the premier conference in college football.

Meh, being a blue blood doesn't really mean much in 2023.
Oregon is set up very well in the NIL realm going forward. The only positives to making that move would be if he just absolutely wants to be in the SEC and fewer long trips for the team.

Dan Lanning impresses me
Dabo would be fine
I think the guy at Kansas is a really good coach but he’s probably too old
If Demeco does a decent job with the Texans I’d at least ask him

Prime is the only coach that has the attitude and gusto to follow a GOAT coach.

Baw, you need to buy some punctuation.

Elko would do well but I do believe he is probably not real keen on following Saban nor would anyone of reasonable sanity.

You think deon's comments on race would go well with the money behind Bama football?

Oregon's had this so-called advantage for nearly 20 years and they have nothing to show for it.
Short of getting a bunch of sanctions before Saban retires, Alabama will be able to get whoever they want within reason. Whether that guy turns out to be successful is a different story, but there won't be a better opportunity for many years

The Oklahoma “Stoops to Riley” succession plan would be the best outcome for Alabama, if they can make it happen.
Saban steps down right before the season starts.. coordinator steps in and takes over for the year, all goes well, and the train keeps on rolling..
In this day of the portal, the biggest risk for Alabama is a mass exodus of all that talent.
Tommy Rees is not the guy to try this strategy with.. Kevin Steele isn’t either.
“Urban to Day” was a similar path but for different reasons.
