3:38 p.m. Sept. 29, Jordan-Hare Stadium
Auburn + 15

• Auburn has won in Jordan-Hare vs. Georgia once in the last 10 years

• Peyton Thorne is handicapped

• Georgia in its last 3 road openers - South Carolina 48-7 // Vanderbilt 62-0 // Arkansas 37-10

• (Possible first half bet) Auburn has scored 3 total points in the first half of its last 2 games vs. Georgia in Jordan-Hare Stadium and Georgia has outscored Auburn 31-3 during that time.

...All this means that Auburn will probably give Georgia a good game and cover. Been a really strange season so far this year!

Nah, Auburn has to be somewhat good for the Voodod to step up in JHS. We'll win by 4 scores or more after a somewhat tight first half.

Not trying to talk trash but Auburn has almost no chance. The talent gap between Georgia and Auburn has never been this wide.

The way UGA has played through first month of season - my guess is they will let Auburn hang around until 3rd qtr.

Auburn won’t score, but the D is good enough that at home we should be able to hold UGA to 7-10 first half before getting the doors blown off second half.

If Auburn hits a couple field goals, feels like that would be a victory for them

That’s not trash talk. It’s a fair assessment.

The Texas A&M game seemed too big for Thorne. I’d be surprised if we had anyone willing to take a snap at QB next week. I damn sure wouldn’t the way our line pass protects. Either way I think our defense can keep it close until halftime or a few minutes into the 3rd. Either way I’ll be wearing orange. WDE

Georgia has been a bad first half team but their schedule has been too embarrassingly bad to matter

It’ll continue

Auburn will not cross the 50 without the aid of a turnover or shanked punt or something of that nature. UGA will be frustrated on offense for a time until Auburn's defense wears out and UGA comfortably wins.

UGA is not A&M. UGA will bring the whallop.

Game is scarier today than it was Friday. Auburn offense is so bad it demands some radical change. Freeze is good enough to come up with something and surprise UGA.

2012 and 2023 may or may not be a toss-up.

Auburn was terrible in 2012, but they were more talented then than they are now. That team had several NFL players, and with the addition of Nick Marshall and Gus Malzahn was 12 seconds away from winning the national title just one season later.

2012 Auburn was a total coaching failure and a collapse of morale within their team. 2023 Auburn just doesn’t have the talent to be competitive.
