A complete University has no fears to compete in all sports.

Any University that thinks success in one sport damages success in another sport is weak minded and it represents a crack in the foundation. Alabama and Tennessee have always been competitive in basketball but have just not reached the pinnacle yet. It has not damaged their commitment to football in the least. (Tennessee’s lack of football success has nothing to do with basketball). I wish both of them, and Arkansas, much success in the Sweet 16.

It takes money to be competitive and there’s only a few programs that can realistically compete at an elite level in every sport.

A good basketball program pays for itself.

There are revenue generating universities and there those that aren’t. Vanderbilt is only in the conference because they’re a private university. This allows the SEC protections from publicly disclosing matters.

Vanderbilt is in the conference because they are founding members of the conference.

I dunno my friend, but I just bet if you poll the sports directors and administrators at every school in the SEC, they would probably say something very simple like; "It is important for us to be successful in all of our sports."

Maybe it's true. Nothing says bowling like Vandy.

Can you give me an example of any University that says this?
Also, Vanderbilt literally castrates children.

I lived in Metro ATL for 27 years. I cannot for the life of me understand how UGA does NOT have BOTH a top MBB and Baseball program. You could do that with 60-65% GA high school players only. I guess most UGA fans/donors just do not care.

Yes they do to my shame and the shame of many other Vandy fans. Thank goodness the Red State of Tennessee put an end to it.

Pinson's letter said the Transgender Health Clinic, which was established in 2018, has provided surgical services for an average of five minors per year. In all those cases, the patients were at least 16, had parental consent and "none have received genital procedures," the executive said.

Ok. What does this have to do with my statement? Are there any other founding members not in the conference?

Because your statement was wrong.

Isn’t Vandy the only SEC school that doesn’t have softball?

But doesn’t have his athletic department in an intramural building
