Saban benched Hurts. He transferred to OU and finished his eligibility. He’s a Sooner. That would be like osu people talking about Burrow being a buckeye - it doesn’t happen.

Saban actually took Hurts off the bench to start over 5 star qb. Then took Hurts off the bench again in the seccg to beat the Ga bulldogs. Afterwards both Saban and Hurts were very emotional.
Hurts also graduated from Alabama and is an alum of the university.

Not really. He was at Bama far longer. It was the best move he could make. If OU wants to claim him too, that's fine, don't care.
