Starting QB left Gainesville. . .
Big shiny new QB looks to be gone with massive NIL deal blowing up. . .
Now, Walker Howard chooses Ole Piss over Gay-tors. . .

Spencer Rattler to UF would have been fun.

Howard never considered the Gators. It was between Ole Miss and TCU.
That being said, it’s been rough sledding for Billy Boy down in Gainesville.

Link to UF recruiting Howard?
Sun Belt Billy already took two transfer QBs. They were never in the Walker Howard sweepstakes.

He’s got Graham Mertz, he’s all set

I figured all of the Napier fans had left this board by now

Why do yall hate Billy so much? He’s never slandered us as far as I know

Sun Belt Billy is looking at having another losing season in 2023, their QB situation is a mess.

I’ll never understand the disdain for this guy. He wanted the job here. Wasn’t offered the job here. Took the Florida job and people here act like he’s slighted LSU in some way. We got a better coach, yet folks continue to hate on this guy for whatever reason.

It's our great yet toxic fanbase. This has everything to do with one side being able to say "Told ya so" in regards to Napier being successful.

If I were Napier I would regret not taking that Auburn job when it was available....

I think the disdain isn’t so much for Billy as it is for Glenn Guilbleaux doing his utmost to get him the job at LSU and shitting on the BK hire. The fact that Napier went to Florida, a hated SEC foe, and is shitting the bed allows LSU fans to simultaneously rip Florida and Guilbleaux. Napier is collateral damage.

People don't like to hear this, but I am so glad he is not coaching at LSU.

I think there were a few media heads that were pushing for Napier. Pretty sure Scona and Jordy wanted Napier as well.
And to be fair it has only been one year Napier could very well turn the program around but right now things look a little bleak.
