That shite was hard to watch. Pretty sure I turned it when they went for it on 4th and 1 inside their own 10 only to throw and interception after they got the first down.

Never paid him much attention before the coach search but ever since someone went (Autism) Spectrum Disorder... that's all I see when looking at him. Think it was a game thread.

I think Lane to Auburn would have been way different than Lane at OM. Auburn had positive momentum and a high ceiling. OM was at their peak, Lane created the negative momentum during our coaching search and he's still riding it down.
One thing is for sure, there's only regret on one side. Lane and OM both appear sick with their situation and spiraling together. AU is still trending upward.

Seeing his philosophy on recruiting, I don’t think it is sustainable. Taking 12-15 HS recruits then counting on the portal for the rest.
I just don’t think that will be a successful formula long term. I maybe proves wrong unless the portal rules change.
He’s only been to 6 bowl games in 14 years as a HC and 2-4 in those bowl games.
I don’t disagree that Auburn puts him in a much better position, but I feel we have the better coach. Time will tell.
I was all in favor of Kiffin but I think Auburn will be better off that it didn’t work out.

regardless of what happens with freeze, it seems passing/missing/whatever on kiffin was good for auburn. i'm glad we dodged that bullet.

Kiffin is a lazy human. I think he wants the NFL again because he hates recruiting, but last night was a complete embarrassment.
